Nice side. Heeney thinking = more mid time? Or just happy enough with his output as a FWD either way?

Happy with Heeney as a FWD for his price and more mid time would be a bonus.
Just feel Taranto, Duncan, Martin etc could be bought for cheaper during the season.

Is it worthwhile to just pick proven super durable good players, as a rule, over others that potentially score more but miss games in the last few years? If you did this across the guns in your team you would get less doughnuts as well, so the points lost to the guys that go bigger might be gained overall. Also not go any mid priced bargains coming back from major injuries...just go Durable guns and rookies. Anyone think it's worthwhile to go down this path? Although it's impossible to know who will get unlucky collision type injuries but you possibly be better off? Anyone ever done something like this?

POD's are great. But IMO coaches that select too many usually suffer. If one fails your on your own with them as a selection.
I reckon if you select your team taking ownership % into account you are setting yourself up too fail.
Pick who you think will be the best scorer, ignore ownership % would be my advice.
If you end up with a POD you have selected on merit great.
Agree with your quote… POD to me works best later in the year during finals when teams are similar.
Rd 1 onwards, pick who can stay on the park and get you big points. Proven Uber players.

Guns and rookies is a more forgiving strategy overall, and this year with the extra trades and trade boosts, getting up to that uber-premo in a single week with a two up, one down is very handy.
Not sure, but you could see some.of the old hands being prepared to cash rookies in for a lower profit to keep the upgrade cadence. As long as there are enough rookies,.seems pretty viable 🤷

** PLEASE NOTE, ALL ROOKIES ARE PLACEHOLDERS AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE**

NOTES.

D. Liking this mix much better. Lloyd is a lock and leave (barring injury), Ryan is under priced and for a guy who has 11 of his 27 hundreds BIG (125+) from his previous 54 games. Tipping Ridley to take his game to the very top of the SC tree this year. Sicily has shown promo potential. The rookies are place holders right now but expecting good things from Chesser.

M. Top 3 should be there about for the top gong at years end. Neale is under priced for what he can bring. A lot riding on rookies stepping in but the two big guys (JHF & Daics) should be right for the first half dozen games at least. The other rookies are place holders.

R. Darcy is the must have ruck now. Ditto Nic Nat imho.

F. Dunkley under priced. Martin also under priced. Mid price madness for value and then more place holding rookies.

I like it.
I would go Gresham to Rayner or Curnow as Gresham is injured.
I like the Ryan pick. What do you reckon he averages?

I traded Luke Ryan in last year. He’s very very frustrating. Cost me about $550k and I got 88, 124, 87,92,62,95,72,103,99.
He’s also much better at home.

Wasn't aware Gresh was injured, cheers for that! Still ,if he's named round 1, I'll probably take the punt.

Ryan should, feasibly average 98+. 100+ would be the dream. Playing away from home is the worry though with WA opting to be there own country these days.

Just wondering what everybodys predicted score is for round 1 after doing their teams. Mine is 1791
It's a crapshoot. Don't read too much into score predictions with your starting squad. If you're hitting somewhere around the 1800 mark you're in the lap of the gods

First little dabble..
