No way Marchbank is ready yet sadly. Missed the most recent vfl game with injury and then we've had the bye as well. Needs a few good weeks in the 2s to get his fitness back
Dunno but depends on need I think he was clearly the best player on ground in his first seconds game and was playing well before his knee knock in the next game.

So if he trains at full pace and no niggle he would be a chance you would think as Durdin/Young will be taking * talls and we need an intercepting mark now Weitbot is out too and Kemp just does not seem up to the role and Plowman will play on a smaller forward.

Who knows?

I just really hope McKay can get up it will go a long way to helping us beat these scumbags hopefully our mids are too tough and hard for them and the ball spends the majority of the game in our forward line anyway.

And not suited to a really uncontested side. Eg a team that is:

17th in Contested possessions
18th in Contested possessions rate (contested as % of overall disposal)
15th in Clearances
18th in Tackles (2.5 std deviations away from average!!!)

You know..... softer than marshmallows...

Cloudy with a chance of marshmallows…

Big show of faith in him.

Best of luck Marchy. Hopefully he gets a clean run for the rest of the year.

Do we bring Durdin in as well now? Or is Marchy our 2nd tall

Wondering this as well.
I'd like us to fix structural issues as quickly as possible and enable Cripps to get back to beasting it.

Would be amazing to see:

In: McKay, Durdin, Marchbank, Martin, Kennedy
Out: Carroll, Weitering, Newnes, Motlop, Dow

Many issues fixed immediately.

Amazing to think Marchy’s last AFL game was 12 months before Sam Durdin’s last AFL game…
Good luck mate! We’re all rooting for you!

The utopia of selections given the current situation … let it be so …

As it stands I don’t think Tom Lynch will be the only 200+cm FF making a comeback in round 14.
Just needs to get the final tick off from the Carlton (and north Melbourne) medical teams.
SO we thinking a no go for Friday
