Not to be a downer though, but if I recall he hasn't even played a full VFL game right? I think he came off at half time in one game and 3/4 game in the other and both times he came off with a minor injury issue...just a little nervous he won't be up to the speed of AFL just yet and get re-injured.

I kept asking, What's happening with training.
I am soooooo happy for Marchbank.
The team spirit amongst the players, is a joy to witness.
I am now totally convinced we will beat the Bombers.
This week is the most intriguing week for team selections. Even now, that we know Marchy is playing.
I am assuming that Kennedy returns!
BUT, what about Martin, S Durdin, Harry?

Funny how some on here seem to build an average player up in to some sort of superstar. 2MP is Ben Brown mach 2. Tall and can bully a small defence but limit his supply and put some pressure on him and his team and he can turn his toes up pretty quickly. Pretty mentally fragile.

Young, Saad, Doc, Marchy are safe. Many would say Newman and Plowman but I think they've had a great last 2-3 weeks. I hate to say it, but would Stocker's spot be up for grabs?

With all due respect, Ben Brown has always been a significantly better player than 2MP.. Think you giving him bit of a disservice tbh, but generally I agree with your critique about Wright

Our team has so many personal narratives of perseverance and hard work. So many players coming back from a long term injury or bad form/lack of continuity and killing it.

Fantastic news re: Marchy. Genuinely never thought he would play again. So egg on my face.

I’m fine with them not bothering with playing him through VFL. We can’t keep putting him in cotton balls because he might get injured.

I would still play Big-Durds. I just think we look so much better with two big men and an interceptor.
