Howard doesn't have a mortgage on the FB position in the seniors. Time to grow a pair and put Joyce in there. I think the throwing Howard forward/into the ruck pinch-hitting option is interesting, that or just drop him. Certainly Paddy and Roma looked pretty injured and/or spent vs Essendon, do we keep persisting with both of them or rest them intermittently? Windy straight back in also please. Same goes with Sharman.

I must say I've been really impressed with Peris, I was not expecting him to come in and show as much as he has. He has moments every game where you say geez, he could make it. Needs to get bigger and find some easier ball. I genuinly think he goes aout the game the right way and is imporoving every week.

Yeah he’s been very good. His quickness can be a real weapon once he starts finding more ball on the outside.
What he’s surprised me with most though is his attack on the man and tackling. He tackles well for a small fella

100%. Seems a real Richmond type of player. I love that the coaches seem to have said just get it and run and once he gets past the initital tackler its over.
Forgot all about the VFL. Fantastic to see Windy go back and blitz again immediately. What a cracker he looks like being.
Only the 1 tackle again won’t help his chances of getting a game up forward in the 1’s though, I wouldn’t imagine.

He only had one tackle because most of the time he had the ball and was trying to bust through tackles.
There were a couple of instances in the last qtr where Campbell tapped the ball down at the centre bounce and it looked like an Oliver/Dusty/De Goey clone hitting the ball at speed and driving the ball forward.
Ryder, Steele, Owens and Windy starting in the centre square would be interesting to watch.
They can't all go for the man, someone has to get ball.
Windy has the pace and agility to get through packs, and Steele and Crouch are the tackling beasts.
It's like Harvey had Burke and Thompson. Or Dal Santo had Hayes and Ball.
And hopefully he actually play midfield.
I've said it before but Windy is going to be the Saints next superstar. He's that legit. Hes like faster Luke Parker. Kicks wonderful goals too. I was shocked he slif to pick 40 odd. There was no doubt in my mind if he had played the whole year he would;ve cracked the top 15.
