Let him head back to SA once a month, no big deal. He'll be there for Magic Round for a start, let him hang back for a few days.
They let him go home a few times during the season and each time it was a struggle to get him back here

Can you provide a bit more detail on what you mean? Did he miss training sessions, did someone have to go and get him, or did he feel sad when he came back to the club?

It's a fairly broad statement that you've made and could be taken in a lot of different ways.

Speaking of Nasiah, I just booked him to do a bday message for my mum for $20. Bloody bargain!

Maybe he misses Adelaide, not his family

Is there any actual proof that Nas wants to go back to SA? Thinking back I can't remember any mention of it anywhere.

no proof, only that he has not extended his contract, and everyone here is panicking.

I didn't say your post was BS I just asked you to clarify it, fairly reasonable I think but if you want to turn it into some anti-ITK thing whatever floats your boat I guess.
Mowman gets VERY VERY good info.

Gets to spend some quality time with some of the boys once or twice a week 👍

Never been my news to break this one. But lewdogs he is a young kid who just wants to be with and around his family.

He has been almost polar opposite to Phillipou with his transition interstate at 18.

That’s why the club felt it okay to try and sell Hunter and pick 9 for pick 3. They were confident of grabbing an extra first rounder at minimum if NWM decided to leave after this coming season.

If he hasn’t signed by mid season. I’d be hoping he looks good enough to bring in more than a first.

I know it’s hard, and history suggests the opposite, but let’s hope the club are all over it and have a plan to keep him and a plan B to make sure we are well compensated if he does go home.

I personally think this year we may be able to convince him it’s worth staying. Hope so anyway, think he’ll be a jet.

As good as he may be he sees himself as a half back/winger long term and they aren’t irreplaceable. Just need to make sure we get decent compensation if that’s the way it does go.

Must be just me but doesn't anybody else think its a bit strange that the only place this ever gets talked about is on this forum. Never mentioned on the Adelaide/Port Adelaide forum, never mentioned in the Adelaide press, never mentioned in the Melbourne press.

So many people connected with AFL and not a peep.

My mate at Port says they'd certainly be interested if he was available but very much doubts that anything is happening behind the scenes.

I think you also mentioned the other day that he had signed or would sign early 2023. Who knows until it's done

I personally with no mail think he is good as gone , there is no reason for him to have not re signed so all we can hope is we get something decent back aka Bergman
The hope is that he either settles in his second year as a 19/20 year old and sees us as the place to be.

The other is he has held off on signing a new contract with the hope of exploding this year and earning more.

Or a bit of both.

I don't really see any positive in losing him, his potential is insane when you look at all the things he can do... Incredible kick, great hands, good tackler. Even if we got a player swap going I doubt they'd be as good as Nasiah.
