Or consider registering as a Demonland poster if you aren’t already. Without intending any offence to general Demonland posters, many of whom are sensible and knowledgeable, the forum there does provide multiple opportunities for lunatics to insist they have importance and insight, and argue with other lunatics endlessly.

Having said all this, I did very much enjoy your attempting to start a fight with Topkent a few weeks back about the things that you entirely imagined that he said while suspended. That was pure gold. Especially the bit where you wouldn’t back down despite any evidence that you were making stuff up. This was real comedy and I enjoyed it very much, and would be disappointed if this kind of stuff dropped out of your repertoire

When we were 10-0, i was the only one that was highly concerned about our footy and was highly critical of our form. i was called a troll. Then we dropped 3 in a row and 4 in 6 weeks.

I had issue with all the dees fans who said 'our game isn't designed to win by much. We do just enough to win and nothing more'. As well as 'we play in 2nd gear and just go bang when we need to' . Where are all of these fans now? Nowhere to be found.

So whilst i was called a troll then, my criticism was justified and anyone who held the above views have been proven to be way off the mark. So call me a troll, but rounds 1-10 no-one was willing ti discuss our obvious flaws because people were blinded by the ladder and our win/loss record.

Correctly predicting that we wouldn't win every game for the rest of time is probably not a call worth patting yourself on the back over.

danster168 I respect your passion, but you aren't always right about everything or the only person to see things or the biggest genius on the board. And even if you were, so what? It's BF. Folks can talk shit and have silly takes and it's fine to be wrong. There's no need to try and defend every point you've ever made to your last breath/post, because ultimately none of what we're saying here really matters.
That's kind of nihilistic, but check out those James Webb photos - we are but specks of dust in an infinite cosmos beyond our imagination. BF doesn't mean shit.

But also generally - there's an ignore button that folks can use, and not every thread needs to turn into a pile on (despite whatever shit takes folks have). We're all wrong and silly to even be spending so much time here (but fyi I was the first to become self-aware on this point!).

Far from the worst trade scenario that will get thrown about in 2022. The problem for me is that we need a gun tall forward more than we need another gun ruckman. Someone who can go into the ruck for 5 minutes at a time but who is a much better forward. Grundy isn't that.

I'm warming to the idea of losing Jackson because although his potential is huge, in the here and now he's not getting the job done as a forward which is where we need him most. He plays his best footy in a position where we've already got an All Australian.

yeah i agree with everything you've said. Grundy would be a luxury to have. Just imagine if Gawn ever got injured. We'd have to play Weideman as a full time ruck.
But yeah like you said we desperately need a key forward. In the draft there are 2 key forwards, Cadman and Jefferson, both are likely in the 8-12 range. Cadman is ready made, Jefferson isn't. I'm confident we'll get one of these 2. But if we go best available there Ginbey from W.A who is a 190cm physical bull that has Jason Taylor written all over him. It'll be hard to not go best available.

Grundy for Jackson and a pick feels like a loss to me. Considering the price tag on Grundy and the fact he can't play forward of centre, or at least struggles to. Jackson has shown much more promise forward of centre. I don't know, might mean Gawn spends a lot more time forward which could solve our marking forward option. If the pick is a Top 10 pick then I'd probably consider it.
