Jim you’re critical of the inclusion of Newman due to lack of pace and in the next breath include Williamson. They’re both slow Jim. I’d say they would be very close in a 10,20,50m sprint. And would trail in 2/3 of the list.
Sir I do not agree with your opinion, but will defend to the death...

Nah, just don't agree.

Had a chat with somebody that works at the club- nothing ground breaking but all good to hear in any case.

Walsh- kid is a freak, even his ability to recover from injuries is first rate 😂. Health wise, he should be good to go for round 1. However club will most likely be conservative with him and it’s almost a case of saving himself from himself. Will be playing before round 4 though.

Hewett- has exceeded expectations this preseason and they think he will have a massive impact on team improvement this year. Couldn’t have left a better impression with everyone around the club.

Carrol- they LOVE this kid. Will be playing senior footy sooner rather than later and lots of it.

That’s all I got, Blues by 16pts Thursday night!
my mate who plays for Port told me in his opinion Hewetts our best pickup when it happened last year, so tough, so ultra consistent week in week out and very accountable, immediate uplift to our midfield - and he knows him well personally and said hes just an all round great guy as well. Cant wait to see the impact he has on the defensive side of our game as well which was pretty below par

Sorry but with an ankle injury, amongst others, it’s not just about running straight lines.
Walshy might be ahead of target but until he is doing all the training, including twisting and turning, we should wait.
At the risk of sounding like Thy...

You wait!

Will be another Ed Curnow in terms of consistency. Just hopefully a better kick (as much as we all love Ed).

How’s Charlie Curnow looking. What role do u think he’ll play? Getting up the ground for marks? I’m looking at him for AFL fantasy.

Kicked 103 goals for Kerang in one season so not so atrocious it would appear

Hey, Kerang has raised a mentioned. That’s where my family used to live before we moved to Melbourne around 1990.
