After Clarko basically declared war on the Suns they can gagf. Even if they bid on Walter and Read at 2 and 3 they can still * off.

Yeah north can EAD.

Greedy club,

Taylor Hine, Aaron Hall, Bailey Scott, Hugh Greenwood and Scott Clayton not enough for them? Ffs stop poaching our superstars

If North wants to give us a 11,14 and a future first, we 100% take that.

North isn't going to turn the corner by bringing in more 18 year olds.

Would you even trust North to follow through and not bid at all if we dealt with them?

What would we say if they did? ‘Hey AFL, North didn’t draft tamper with us after we made a deal to. Punish them.’

Might be unlikely, but I have 0 trust in North, Clarkson, or Scott Clayton to act in good faith here and not pull some dodgy and bid on at least 2 of them anyway.

Just decide on which future 1st + points offer we think is the best and then pick the other one.

Is GC going to turn the corner by bringing in 18 yr olds? 🤷🏽‍♂️
With Goldy, Cunners McKay & Ziebell gone their most experience players are their two captains Simpkin & McDonald then Corr Logue Greenwood Turner Zurhaar Larkey

they are a few years away

No, we did that in 2018 and it clearly didn't fix anything.

My point is that's where North are now, us in 2018.

If we bring in 18 year old, we're not building the club around them and forcing them to play a major role day 1.
They have to force their way into the team.

Jed Walter, Jake Rogers and Ethan Read aren't our number 1 options in that position.

Harry Sheezel literally won North's best and fairest.

Would have gone close to winning ours too.
The kid is a stud.

Couldn’t we just wait until draft night? If they want the pick, then don’t bid on our player as a show of faith. At pick 3 we can trade it to them should Hawthorn bid.

If North choose to bid, then trade to Bulldogs instead, or any other team, or into the future etc.

It is clear both teams want pick 4 for the draft player, not to use in a trade prior to the draft.

Obviously they will have to trust us in this arrangement, but it is our pick. We should have the power.

Unless we plan on using the split picks on players to trade prior to the draft night, what is the rush? We don’t need the points before draft night…

Not doubting the kid's ability, he's just indicative of where North Melbourne is right now.

A first year player came into that club and won the best and fairest.

North will probably finish the bottom 4 again next year, but for a club that's rebuilding, if we can get that future 1st, it's basically highway robbery.
