So our plan (other than to add 4 kids) is to run it back with the same best 23. Let’s hope Dimma knows what he is doing then…

I say, let's wait untill the end of trade period.

But yes, it looks like Dimma is as successful as Dew when we talk about attracting A graders. It could change next year especially if we somehow play finals. Looking how teams are upgrading I am not optimistic :) It got to be internal growth sparked by Dimma magic.

Again, Dimma got here 5 minutes ago and has no idea what he already has at his disposal. He’s not going to go all out to bring players on big money in until he’s assessed where we are lacking for his new game style.

He’s also got 6 years to build his team so he would be more than comfortable to let the squad audition over the next 12 months to see who sinks or swims before attacking next trade period with our supposed chest of future picks and money. That seems to be what we are preparing for this year.

This post should be stickied.

North beating us in the last round has added that entertainment for trade week, they could of had 1&2… idiots. Hope they Enjoyed that win
It's quite entertaining watching their nuffie fans as WC turn down their generous offer of a handful of late picks for pick 1

North have 2 & 3, I have no idea why West Coast would take a handful of late first round picks over that.

If North want Reid, they have to pay 2 & 3, and West Coast know that.

Imo Melbourne and Hawthorn will try with big offers for pick 1.

Still reckon it's more likely Reid is at WC next year.

Sounds all good. The only problem is that we are not re-building and if we don't make finals in next 2 years we are in deep trouble.

Academy kids are great long-term but will not really help us significantly in near future.

Don't need to assess list first to get Bolton :p

Bolton does seem the ideal target doesn't he?

Dimma knows him, plays in a position the Suns need to improve, and he's at a team that's not having success for a few years.

Guess it depends on money, whether he wants to leave Melbourne, and if Dimma actually wants him.

He looks like perfect fit. Money should be no issue. Do it Dimma. I wish, haha. Nothing will happen this year. Instead, we get 33 years old Martin next year.

Problem is we need all this years picks for academy players.

Wonder if Richmond take a F1? They would probably want something this year though.

Maybe pick 11 and use a F1 to get more points
