I don't think McCabe will be bid on in the teens but a lot can happen in 6-7 months.

I agree, but at the same time Cadman was thought of as a 20-30 prospect at this point last year.

Sheezel similarly was thought of as an end of R1 type pre-season.

So that's 2 of last years top 3 weren't in a lot of top 15's and alot of the talk at this time of last year was Tsatas, Lemmey and Keeler.

That kinda misses the point I was making. Whether he’s a pick in the teens or twenties, we’ll be endeavoring to take out first pick to the draft and then match a bid on McCabe thereafter.

I think Hawthorn will finish 16th (unfortunately the Hawks will probably never win a spoon in my lifetime, something in the clubs DNA that Kanga Kennedy and Yabby Jeans help build will never allow it)

You guys have plenty of cap space now to be major players in the F/A/Trade period (I don't think missing out on Bowes was a bad thing to be honest for Hawthorn, and that kid from Geelong will be a good player)
We just broke a 50 year run of not winning a spoon - Kanga Kennedy's DNA can wear off.

Will Lorenz set to play off half back along with Philactides it’s going to be plenty of run and class of half back for Oakleigh. Will LaMotte will be a handful as a Fritsch style forward and expect bottom agers Smith, O’Sullivan and Gross to make an impact.
The run off HB was quick. Both Philactides and Lorenz combo was on show today. I think they both kicked goals off HB as well. Philactides speed is off the charts, particularly while running and bouncing.
The Oakleigh mids of O'Sullivan, Brown, Gross & Smith brought their own footy. Some top talent for next year as well. Billy Hicks could be one to watch as a bit of a Gruzewski mkII. Great in the air. Even bottom age small fwd Oppy looked comfortable at the level today.

Yesterday at Eastern vs Northern none of the VM boys played. I liked the look of Faranado ex national basketballer. He played mid and showed looks like he maybe one to watch as the season goes on. Apparently Caddy has a fractured fibula. He was in a moon boot yesterday.

Kristian Ferronato was captain of the Vic Under 12 Australian Football Team in 2017. He was ruck then. Hasn’t grown much since but can play.
