Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

I think we can put this one to bed. North will definitely be taking Colby - they've been into him for months. I reckon half of us would keel over in shock if he's still there at our pick. The question is who they will go for with their other pick - Curtin or Duursma?
And then of course the fun game of everyone guessing if we'll go for Curtin/Duursma or Watson :)
So if this shock sequence of picks eventuates, we'd take McKercher?

He is the one. The speed, the disposal, the taps to advantage, goal sense and assists. Game changer, he doesn’t need to be any taller.

I’ve got dummies, I’ve got toys and I’ve got cots, don’t make me use them please.

Thank the footy gods, only one week tomorrow left until draft 2023!

I am so looking forward to season 2024. Lots of internal improvement left in this group and they all seem motivated to improve!

An then add traded in players and draft players to the team. Exciting times ahead!

If he is still there at pick 4, will someone hit us up with over the top offers. Which club is most likely to be ultra keen to get him.

GWS? would they swap their pick 7+f1 for 4 or Demons with 6+F1

Watson just seems like an extremely low risk decision:
  • 10+ year A-grade small forward to pair with the talented group we have.
  • Ginnivan/Watson is an extremely marketable duo.
  • Aligns with our desire to bring in more scoring power.
Even if I believe Curtin has higher potential upside I think Wiz is the one.

Most are coming around to the Wizard now.

The interesting call is Duursma if available.

Whispers Clarko wants the tall, in Curtin.

Then we choose between Duursma and Wiz. Not easy.

I think we are hoping Duursma slips through to our pick. His form in the second half of the season was probably the best of any draftee. Highly talented and a perfect list fit for need.
