Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

While 4 for 6 and dees f1 doesnt sound an amazing deal, if we want curtin then it makes sense. Might open up an opportunity to trade back into the draft after mccabe is bid on to grab a player we like. Or we hold it for trade collateral next year.

Yep Watson will be a Hawk. Do we think Collingwood would swoop on Wingard tomorrow? Will we pick up Wingard and Stephens with late picks or wait till the rookie?

McKenzie gave absolutely nothing away to the point that he didn't even want to be drawn into a discussion between Watson and Curtin. Instead he mentioned they have a group of 5 players that could be considered for our first pick, all dependent on who goes where beforehand. They have planned for all different scenarios.

Might need to change his name to Johnny Tightlips.

I would love to see him embrace the nickname and actually be asleep! The interviews are largely pointless you can’t of course say anything.

They're laying on the Curtin to North narrative so thick I'm honestly leaning the other way and thinking it's just a ploy to spook West Coast

Yep. Why bother? Unless west coast have the inclination to trade into the top 6 with one of hawks, dogs or dees, they aren't getting curtin regardless. So why would it matter if north take him? Probably a lot better if north take him than the other clubs.

Here’s a question: if Clarko is in love with Curtin and each of North and Eagles offer F1 to GWS, which pick would they take ?
Not sure they're interested in trading out, they're all over Windsor.

Wouldn't matter. Duursma is the one we've been after since the start, if he's there at our pick we're taking him.
Yeah, but he might not be the one to get pushed out by Curtin going to the beggars. If it's Duursma and Curtin, we're choosing between Watson and Colby.

I dont think Clarko goes Curtin, the insiders seem pretty firm on Zane and Colby for them and there's a lot of publicity around his interviews. Don't think we've had a more exciting draft since 05 really.
