Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

It's obvious North were going to bid on McCabe.

Their club is screaming for KPP while they continue to blatantly ignore them and rack up more bottom 4 finishes and handouts.

This is their way they can say to their members/public 'at least we tried this time'
They pushed McKay and Goldstein out the door

And picked up a project ruck (3-5 years away from impacting) and a bunch of mids

All the hatred going norf's way isn't lace with class.

Just a draft and they bid roughly where McCabe was figured to go. Who cares?

You must be new to the internet 😛

Compare the pair. Swans trade for Grundy, get Green to learn under him.

North trade away any tall talent and draft a kid with no mentorship.

Can't wait for the complaints and begging in a few years when they don't make it.

I couldn't care less that North bid at that pick because if it wasn't them, it would have been the Crows with the next pick anyway.

What was funny is the fox team referring to Charlie Edwards as a 'bolter' twice - including once to his face! - when their own fOx SpOrTs LaB rank was #21 and he was taken at #21 :$

Pick 44 should be good enough to take a risk on ZZ or Joel Freijah or Ashton Moir if he slides.

Norf just picked Will Dawson, 20 picks earlier than the combined rankings

44,54,55 equals to a pick 26 but no one is going to take that deal, no club left with FS picks that we can nick

We still got picks 44(362 pts), 54(220), 55(207) and 73(9)
362 + 220 + 207 + 9 = 798 pts

Even without the discount, good enough to match at pick 24 (785 pts)

No one is bidding on Dear in the top 40, but I'll be pissed if the bid comes before our next pick.
