Hey guys, hope everyone's had a fantastic offseason!

Just had an Inquiry, I was using checkthepunt.com last year which gave me stats for the last 3/5 games for each player etc but it looks to have come to an end. Does anyone have any similar sites/resources for this kind of stuff? Or any good material to help with hitting those multis?!

Happy punting!

Named half back (doesn’t mean much I know). You pretty confident he plays forward?

Played forward all pre season replaced Ryan Clarke who is injured

Prices as of 8.30am this morning. Obviously a lot has happened since then.

Richmond vs Carlton
2u - Richmond -5.5 - $1.90 - SB

Tipped Carlton at +14.5 last year and they managed to go on to win this fixture. Have been on the fence with this one for a bit but team news has tipped in this favour and can only see this heading in favour of the Tigers once teams are name. Carlton don't look any stronger than they did last time in this fixture and have already stated that Williams and Walsh will miss along with naming two debutants already. The Tigers look a tonne better than they were this time last year and will be relish the additions of Dusty, Prestia (injured in 1st qtr), Taranto, and Hopper to add the much needed grunt. Richmond got smashed in the stoppages last year and was on the receiving end of 6.3 from the Carlton mids on the night which I don't see replicating. Hardwick spent the early parts of last year moving the magnets around for the Tigers, but after a bit of a drop off and the addition of a few players I expect them to go full tilt from round 1.

2u - Hopper 25+ disposals - $1.85 - 365
2022 was a down year for Hopper in which he only hit this total in 1/7 games where he saw low CBA numbers and limited opportunity. 2021 is a much better representation of where I see Hopper at, he averaged 26.3 disposals and cleared in 14/23 games. Digging deeper, he cleared in 9/11 when CBA was 75% and higher, and 4/4 when 80% or higher. In preseason he had 83% CBA and is a number I'd expect to see throughout the season.

2u - Cerra 25+ disposals - $2.00 - BlueBet
Regularly thrived last season when someone missed from the Carlton midfield where he hit this mark in 6/8 games and 2/2 when Walsh missed like he is this week. Last year he battled with fitness, illness and injury, but with a full preseason under his belt, and a Walsh-less midfield, I'm expecting him to go full tilt.

2.5u - Nankervis 15+ disposals - $1.71 - SB
0.5u - Nankervis 20+ disposals - $3.70 - SB

No Soldo which creates this play, it means he spends more time following the ball and less time rotating forward. Played 6 of his last 7 games in 2022 without Soldo and went 15+ and 20+ in 5/6 and 4/6 games. In 2021 when Soldo wasn't part of the Tigers he hit the 15+ in 12/16 and 20+ in 5/16.

Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
4u - Bontempelli 25+ disposals - $1.73 - Betr

Favourite bet of the round for me. The restructuing of the Dogs line up means we should see the Bont in a much greater midfield role in 2023. Last year he battled on and off with niggles and spent a number of games being used as a forward due to lack of options up there. This however will change this year and I expect him to go back to his numbers of 2021 which saw him clear this in 20/26 games and in 3/3 vs Melbourne. In his prime this year and a massive contender for the Brownlow.

GWS vs Adelaide
2.5u - Both teams to score 74+ points - $1.89 - 365

The Crows ended last season playing much more attacking footy and clearing this in 5 of their last 6 games. As evidenced in both preseason games, the crows will look to play a much quicker and more attacking brand in 2023, as they should given their talented forward line. The Giants also look to be playing aggressive football throughout the preseason. Both teams will be vulnerable due to the attacking nature. Game is set for Sunday arvo in prime conditions and should bring out some free flowing footy from both sides.

St Kilda vs Fremantle
3u - St Kilda under 73.5 points - $1.83 - Ladbrokes

Have had this one pencilled in for a bit and appears to be trending down. With a forward line missing multiple top end goal kickers from last season along with a host of names in other positions on the park it looks extremely difficult for the Saints to kick a score on the weekend. Add to that, the Docks are sound defensively ranking as the best defence in 2022.
