PLUS Your club board comp is now up!
I think it’s a really poor crowd. Club members haven’t turned up. Given the build up, it’s a bit surprising to me.Disappointing level 1 members reserved seating areas again tonight. A real issue.
What crowd were people expecting? Looks to be about 27k.I think it’s a really poor crowd. Club members haven’t turned up. Given the build up, it’s a bit surprising to me.
Don’t know. I thought around 30,000 would be ok. I doubt it’s that. What crowd were people expecting? Looks to be about 27k.
It probably should be 30,000 plus but there are a bunch of reasons (not necessarily good ones) why that was always unlikely.Don’t know. I thought around 30,000 would be ok. I doubt it’s that.
Think Saints vs Lions is 28,995 according to BT.
You would if you were a Saints supporter. Same old shit time after time. Anyway, not the thread for it.I was on a train at Southern Cross Station and it become jam packed full of saints supporters. I checked the score thinking they must be getting flogged, but nope they were 15 points down with 16 minutes still to go!
What is going on?
Who does that?
Bewildering.

Not the thread for bay type digs. And absolute dross ones at that. Saints supporters are the virtual opposite of bandwagoners.Typic

Typical of the St Kilda band waggon supporters!
So how come their crowds drop away sharply when they start losing? Not the thread for bay type digs. And absolute dross ones at that. Saints supporters are the virtual opposite of bandwagoners.
Numbers haven’t dropped “sharply” they have just dropped the same that any clubs numbers drop when they lose a few games. So how come their crowds drop away sharply when they start losing?
This is their highest crowd v Lions since 2009.So how come their crowds drop away sharply when they start losing?
They did this for the Brisbane/Richmond game in 2019 as well. Definitely expecting high 60s or 70k+ could turn up.They have made Q37-Q40 which is MCC seating public general admission. Very interesting.
Hopefully hits 70k but anything over 65k would still be absolutely massive. They did this for the Brisbane/Richmond game in 2019 as well. Definitely expecting high 60s or 70k+ could turn up.
Are there any concerns by the poor ratings footy seems to be getting in Perth this year? I'm always surprised how low they are, in saying that I can't believe they often shove games off to the secondary channels there.

Would be remarkable to get even 65k given that 9 out of the 16 metro lines and all V-Line trains will be out of action tomorrow and the MCC has announced the MCG car park will be closed to the public tomorrow. They’re making it hard as possible to just get there.Hopefully hits 70k but anything over 65k would still be absolutely massive.
