What I find incongruent is his profile in his draft year and what we've seen since being drafted. I recall hearing about this mature, loyal, hard-working, professional, leadership in spades, who was cherry ripe for the next step. Yet, on evidence, he's none of those things. And even though he's talented, it can't be said that he's set too many games alight either.

Obviously North demanded more from him, the media are all over his 'efforts' and surely so is Port. But if anything, he's getting worse. With us he raised red flags with his body language, then it was straight out petulance and now it looks like he just DGAF. From the example from last night it looks like he thinks about trying, but then consciously decides not to.

I wonder how much he enjoys playing footy at this level.

We kept rewarding efforts like this last year, you have to drop him otherwise it will divide the playing group and rip the club apart.

Hopefully, for us he continues to play as it will only strengthen our draft position.

I wonder if he ever really wanted to go to poorta. He was apparently a Freo supporter and idolised Fyfe. Maybe Fabian saw young Jason as his cash cow and manipulated, coerced or brainwashed him to make the move to Alberton, but deep down Jason doesn't want to be there.

That curse I put on JHF working in mysterious ways didn’t know it would turn him into a sloth. Timing is everything we will be going up the Premiership clock , Port will possibly be going the other way .However, I still think he will be a very good player, perhaps at his third club.

Kenny ain’t dropping him, cause kennys trying to keep his job and the good out weights the bad.
It’ll be left up to an incumbent coach like Patch to try and reign it in. And boy wow wee how’d that go.

Glorious how it has played out so far. Remains to be seen whether the prick can turn it around. One can say he is 19 and immature but I think what is ingrained in him will be difficult to change. He is a kid who is not used to hard work and thinks he can coast on talent alone.
