I never thought the day would dawn when I would cheer on every goal that Joe "the Giraffe" Daniher kicked but it did last night as he helped steer the power to a most inglorious loss.

Go Giants next Saturday. (BTW, if port loses, our draft pick will look a bit better than 16 as it stood at the end of the H&A season.)

This is the scenarios (I think) for the Port pick.

Port lose next week pick 14

If they win there's some scenarios

Brisbane lose Port lose - pick 15
Brisbane win Port lose - pick 16

if they get to the GF
lose 17
win 18

Cam Raynor is obviously a very good example of someone who acted in completely the opposite way, got drafted to the bottom team and applied himself and last night was arguably one of the best players, at least the most balanced game i have seen him play, LDU in the same draft went to a lowly team and is just now beginning to show he will be a integral part of us going forward as we improve,

Old mate it seems just wanted to get the fast train to poort and ride on the coat tails of blokes like boek and wines, and more recently butters and rozee who have already done the hard yards to improve that clubs fortunes,

LDU has been a gun for 18 months.

I don't. I think its great. I think a lot of neutral supporters view his behaviour last year, culminating in him wanting/basically walking out, as quite offensive and not how any number 1 pick going to the Wooden Spooner should behave. He let us down big time and it is not just us who see it that way, so too do many neutral supporters.

He should have knuckled down and accepted his lot, which he asked for, being the number 1 pick. We could have and in hindsight should have selected Daicos, with that pick, and even though the Pies would have matched, it would have been the very first lesson he needed to learn. He treated us like s*, no two ways about it and now he is being given s* back.

Of course Port Adelaide, as a club, aided and abetted him. I hate that club with a passion.

Can't wait until he actually plays against us in Melbourne. He will rightfully cop it from me for as long as my voice holds out. I suspect I am not alone in this view.

so would you find peace Horace if Port lose next week, then have a longer finals drought than * and pick 14 makes Wayne Carey look like Mason Cox ?

now that would be the Karma bus driving over then reversing back over Port

I think trolling a player's mother is pretty poor form. Jesus.

It's not like the initial post tagged her or anything, she chose to engage.

In doing so she has opened the door to any response.

In fact the comentators specifically called him out at half time as to how well he was doing and he'd only had 6 touches. In the highlights they showed he turned it over twice.

Yeah, I understand the context. I still think it is pretty poor to target a player's family. It wasn't wise for her to engage, but a mum is always going to stick up for her boy.

THe initial post didn't target the family, so it wasn't trolling. It just provided commentary on the Dermott having an orgasm about 6 touches.

Everything after her response was always going to be trolling. Especially as she actually put out a hook for it, by having a crack at North to a North poster what did she think would happen?

I mean I don't really care either way, I don't twitter.

I would hold a very different view if people were tagging her in anything to do with JHF but that's not the case.

He is not frickin 12 years old. He is an adult !

Parents never turn off those protective instincts, okay, good caring parents perhaps. It wouldn't have killed anyone in that conversation to cut her some slack. I am sure she will get a friendly phone call from the club and say it isn't helpful for parents to get drawn into social media spats with trolls, it is a potential distraction the player needs like a hole in the head during finals.

If I was a parent and my boy was going into the draft during the late Scott/Shaw/Noble period I would have prayed my club didn't recruit him because we were a rabble. I don't blame anyone who has left in the past or intends on leaving this year. The clarkson saga late last year was just the cherry on top.

I don't want to piss people off here but the JHF obsession is really pathetic, the kid is an idiot or showed idiotic qualities but we have had a congo line of North people running this club that orchestrated this shitshow of epic proportions, if people want to get angry, be angry at the people who put together the flotsam of an administration together.

JHF left, Tarrant left before him, Brown left before him, Higgins bailed and the reality is the club was still a rabble when everyone who didn't leave was still here.

I don't really care about JHF, I think he will be a very good player in time and I was enjoying how Brisbane was playing him, because they pulled his game apart, put him under a ton of pressure and ran off him to expose the weakness of his defensive game outside of stoppages. It was a Fagan masterclass.

I'm not going to troll his mum of taking GM bribes, seriously, what is that garbage. You think JHF's 800k a year payday means he couldn't afford to get his mum a $30k plastic chinese car?

To be fair to her, I scrolled back through her timeline to see what kind of comments she was making last year, and she was pretty livid with comments suggesting *** wanted out or wanted to leave the Roos. Still seems to keep in touch with some Roos fans that she met while he was at the club.
Seems Korn Francis, the rotten condom from Big Brother, and Mike Tyson's punch out were likely the true 'masterminds'.

Definitely needs some social media training though, and you'd think Port will get on that if it's brought to their attention. Neither her nor the people she was commenting to were covering themselves in glory.

Yeh, well. I guess you cant completely give away draft collusion. They are shifty and cunning as shit house rats. **** them. I hope the campaigner is booed for the rest of his entire ****ing career and I absolutely stand with the Booers.

And I am absolutely wrapt with Wardlaw and their first pick for that rat!

Well said, the only thing I will add is that Kane Cornes also added to the vitriol directed towards Jason. His ridiculous comments, defending, and highlighting of JHF’s poor behaviour last season has been good for his own rating numbers. Meanwhile in doing so, he has thrown JHF under the bus, and has stirred up the general footy fans’ passion towards JHF’s poor behaviour.

He will ensure I am full voice for that one

As much as Cornehole has ignited the flame, it will be he himself who explodes in outrage at the fan treatment of a young lad who's on the verge of becoming one of football's greatest stars.

Tarrant, Higgins and Brown would of stayed if they were given the contracts they wanted in the tail end of their careers.

You shouldn’t use those names. They all wanted to stay. Absolute tripe from you Tas. Expected better.

You dont suck up the clubs arse “pick me, pick me” grab a 10k bonus and then shaft the club.

They colluded the draft. Now, I couldn’t give a **** any longer. Just want to rub salt into their wounds day in day out for the rest of his career. **** him

I may have to ensure my vocal chords are well lubricated for that game.

Good thing we didn't give them those contracts tho cos the three of them were cooked.

Absolutely in hindsight each of those players only had a year in them.

Imagine we’d given Brown 4 years at the level we initially put in front of him.

Would be Polec levels of frustration given his knee is f***ed
