Oh I agree it's not just about him, tough to get a club to reset list with a decade in coach you've just extended though. They've made it really hard on themselves to get out without paying for it.

Agree 100%.

They've also mortgaged their future by trading for Willie and Judas Horne-Francis, because they clearly have list holes they're not going to be able to fill in trades/free agency.

I reckon they peaked this year and are about to tumble down the ladder. No way they finish top 4 next year.

Sooooo pick 14 eh?..

Sooooo an unethical mummy’s boy out and (potentially) a Harley in after already getting a Warlord?..

Karma is a bitch!

Number one pick or not, he arrived their based on awful attitude and a lying campaigner

They'll see a big membership drop off now, you watch.

Tbh, who can blame them?
I have relatives that aren’t signing up due to Hinkley staying on as coach.

May it continue.

Its going to be really interesting to watch what happens next year. Its a big whack in the face to be flying for 2/3rds of the year then fall off a cliff in the last month or so.
is that a sign of things to come or will it motivate them. ?
Doesn't help that a couple of their senior guys like Wines look cooked and as you say they mortgaged their future on a guy where the jury is still out on his professionalism.

still think they could get top 4 next year, but a lot of reasonably evenly matched sides from say 12th onwards so they could easily slide down.

They start off badly and they’ll implode

I want to know why Jase Cornes Francis melted at the Ump is those dying minutes when he was tackled and threw the ball?

Stevo got a 10km penalty for dissent earlier in the year

Umpires are too scared he may sook, cry and get his mum to put a complaint forward to the afl stating “why are they being mean to him?”

It was fun sitting out side a north Adelaide pub last night having a beer watching all the Port fans glumly shuffle home. Sitting with my kids and their mates in GWS gear laughing and being merry, very much added to the occasion.

Key word in all of this is “outside” in Radelaide
