Can't stand the AFL putting this over multiple days. Get on with it!
I think it’s designed to allow clubs to take stock of pick movements due to bid matching, what talent is still left on the table, and what positional needs they’ve been able to fill. That allows them to develop new trading and drafting strategies for day 2.

Shai Bolton was a far superior talent
We'll see. Not many rated Bolton highly in his draft year.

He went at pick 29. After Ben Long! You'd know more about Collard than I would, being a local, St.Cicatriz, but I'm backing our recruiters on this one.

He's an excitement machine by all reports. At worst, he has great potential and is worth more than another vanilla midfielder or half-back flanker type.

Collard is a massive flight risk.Is extremely close to his family and wanted to stay home.I work with 1 of his cousins here in Perth and he told me whoever picks him,he will be asking for a trade at the end of his 1st contract.

Apparently is also a very shy kid,but maybe Hill and Henry will help him come out of his shell a bit.

I think the saints will need to spend a lot of time with him off the field making him feel comfortable. He is extremely talented,so was worth the risk for you guys, but I felt whoever picked him(outside of Freo or WC )was taking a big risk.

Not sure you can say you've nailed a draft...on draft night before the kids have actually set foot at Moorabbin

IF you've just come back from 2 years in the future though I unreservedly apologise ;-)

Sure you can, i often heard it, "We've got Paddy and Goddard, that's our bookends sorted, now we can get mids".

I think Wanganeen-Milera asked for a trade after his first season.

That’s a very optimistic view of things CF 😂🥰
SOS is on the blower right now trying to change a future 3rd and pick seventy-eleven into Stevie George.

Any idea what he actually did to cop a 10 match suspension for an "off field" incident? Because his highlights look real damn good! Reminds me of Jack Darling, with off field behaviour and 'go home' factor making him slide

Seems about a 50/50 chance to be available.

According to the WCE board, they interviewed Archie Roberts over the weekend. Most mocks had him gone by now too. So assuming they do that, that just leaves Brisbane and Geelong before us.

Given Brisbane just picked up Doedee as a FA, and Geelong drafted O'Sullivan, high liklihood Ollie Murphy is still there for us if WC dont pick him.

Suspension due to getting on the beers

He was caught in possession of alcohol

Im sure thats the public reason given to the media. But 10 weeks (more than half an underage season) for a one off alcohol thing is not right

For the stuff I am alluding to, check page 264 of the North 2023 National Draft Preview Thread II

Absolutely no idea if those type of rumours are true. Hence why I was asking stavro#4. But if they are, would make a lot of clubs think twice

Just had a read, sounds like he could be a shit bloke but I’m sure he will mature as he gets older and wiser.
Worth the risk. Choir boys don’t win premierships.
