What have you added again? No need to be so sensitive, melting is part of the trade week experience.

Sure, but melting that we're becoming weaker by offloading JJ and Harmes (the most dropped players in the side this year?) is a bit silly. Both were depth options. Moving them on gives opportunities for younger blokes or new draftees.
The frustration at not getting another good forward in is understandable; McAdam seems solid, but another would've been nice. Chol, knocks on him aside, could've been a good cheapish option if we'd had a crack

If taking a last minute shot at Hawkins is our only play for a key forward this trade period all the melts here will be justified.

It's a good old throwback to the days where we were used as leverage for players to get a better deal from their current/future club. Time is a flat circle.

Our game style would be horrific for Hawkins and not sure why old mates convincing himself we are the key to setting up Hawkins off field. He walks into a coaching role at any club

Reckon he'd bring the sort of presence that would demand more from our midfielders (hell, maybe even our coaches).

I already said this. He can demand all he wants teams already know they can just drop extra numbers back and we can't consistently score against it and we also concede the other way

Yeah, but on face value why would you want to come here as a forward? God bless McAdam coz I wouldnt. Until we prove it in game I reckon most of note would say **** that unless its for much more money than others are willing to offer.

I think Schultz goes to Collingwood regardless of if they had won a flag or not. Hes played in a similar to system to ours with Freo, dont be surprised if we have forwards wanting out if we fall down the ladder either.

Plus when Oliver wins his 10th clearance of the day and slams it on the boot, or hands it off to Viney, Brayshaw or Langdon the **** is Hawkins gonna do anyway? Get out marked by athletic defenders after the ball goes higher than longer.

Worst outcome for us is that Watson falls to 6.

Wait what? How is that the worst outcome? The best goal scoring pure fwd outside the GC academy falling to us is the worst outcome? Do we have a bunch of good small forwards that i don't know about? Was I watching a diff team this yr and having another player who cam create goals out of no where is a bad thing? From where I'm sitting, either him or Duursma look ideal for us and Duursma isn't gonna make it to 6.

Haha yep If I'm Bailey Fritsch I'm asking to go to Brisbane or the Crows. Hed win a Coleman at a team that kicks to their forwards

back is bad now, imagine it after a season where there is 80 inside 50s a game and every single one of those is dropped on his head while all the Melbourne forwards and their opponent is smashing into his back all going for the same ball.
