Trade Petty and flick that compo + F1 to bulldogs

Draft O Sullivan at 6 and Wilson at 11

Key forwards / key backs and outside runner sorted

If we offered JUH that the entire club needs to check itself into the nuthouse.

Sydney use that strategy consistently and it works. They did it for Lockett, then Franklin, tried Naughton, now going for JUH.

They never have issues with lack of tall forwards.

Sydney strategy
Step 1: identify best key forward available
Step 2: offer 10 year contract
Step 3: clean up on NGA
Step 4: win cups

It’s not comparable, game is played differently now. No one kicks 100 goals a season anymore.

The way I see it with Petty is if Adelaide offered him the same thing in two years when he's a Free Agent we'd be getting first round compo anyway. This year that'd be 14. So if they're that keen on him then we can get two more years of service out of him and still get a similar pick. Even better if we fall off a cliff

We need to get ahead of the pack, once his a star he ain’t coming to the Dees, and if he does it will be for more than 1.5m
