He has the talent and skills, has just lacked fitness which has started to come on now.

We need to get ahead of the pack, once his a star he ain’t coming to the Dees, and if he does it will be for more than 1.5m

Would rather give King 1.5m a year and im no great fan of King.

Some stars also never pan out, which is why a lot of wheeling and dealing for longer contracts occur when players are at or in their peak

If Sydney are going that hard for JUH next year it's silly to get into a bidding war. Instead we should be going for Logan Mcdonald. Better chance of prying loose a guy who is watching them spend a fortune on other blokes to play the same role as him.

To quote Les. "This poster gets it"

2nd for McAdam when we got a 3rd for Harmes shows how Lamb bends over on every trade.

Also giving up an additional pick to move from 14 to 11 is another example

Would be nice to walk away thinking “we won that trade” just once
Don't understand this sook fest
We won the May Trade, we won the Hogan grade, Melksham and Pig were big wins.
Killed it when we traded up to get Pickett off the Roos.
Made off like bandits getting Freos future first rounder only for them to drop to bottom 5.

Like Christ man

They paid pick 1 for JUH and he's a decent young key forward. The **** do people think we have to pay to get him? It'd be like 6 and 11 and potentially more with that 1.5 million.

Our list would be an absolute mess with a bloke who won't do much playing in our team anyway

Jamara is going to be a star. Needs another year or 2.

Given WB plethora of talls and the contract they’ve just given Naughton, I reckon we might be massive into Jamara next year.
Seems doubtful. Id love it if we actually did manage to poach a good fwd from someone else but id certainly be surprised. Shame if it actually happened and he requested a trade to us and we didnt have the assets to get it done coz we traded all our 2nd rd picks for a 3 pick upgrade.

It’s not happening this year.

I reckon he’d be a great partner for JVR as they are a bit different in style. He definitely needs another year or 2, but I rate him and think he’s going to transform into an elite key forward.

One Mcdonald to replace another.
