What we traded out was fine.

I find giving away those two picks to move from 14 to 11 really bizarre unless there is a pick swap still to come.

I’m sorry but Matthew Jefferson and Thomas Fullarton just don’t cut the AFL KEEN’S MUSTARD as big names. We could’ve picked up SAMO SAMUEL PETREVSKI-SETON or DEREK EGGMOLESE-SMITH as TOYOTA AFL FORD RANGER DELISTED FREE AGENTS. Where there moves made to get in DENVER GRAINGER-BARRASS’S eye and look him straight in the ear? I can’t believe how unbelievable it is that we couldn’t GET EXCITED about REEBOK WANTAWAY HAWK Jacob Koschitzke!! We better be building up our COINSPOT WAR CHEST to get Jamarra Ugle Hagan. Not even one mention was made of Darryl McDowell-White! All of these players seemed so GETTABLE PODCAST.

Feels like pretty irresponsible list management, as they're not exactly a powerhouse. Hinkley, Koch and co are going to run that club into the ground.

Going for it, I don't mind it. You can always trade out a couple to get back into the first round if you need if it goes **** up.

I'd give us a B; wasn't any big fish out there that we could snare, and we traded three depth players for three better options on cheaper contracts, in areas our list needed.

Also cleared decent salary cap for next year.

Billings and McAdam are upgrades on Harmes and Jordon so im happy with that.

Honestly think McAdam could be a real bargain recruitment. He's a pretty physical operator and we'll add something different to our forward line that we haven't seen in a while.

Not enthused by the Billings acquisition.

Forget his draft position 10+ years ago - we know what we are getting.

Didn’t move particularly high up the board this year or next either so no I’d give this a C+.

The only thing I’ll say (and I might be kidding myself) is that I reckon we’re positioned to bring in a big name next year when we trade Petty out.

McAdam is gonna be great. He's a small who can play tall as well and he's tough. As excited for him as I am for our draft picks tbh

I will say about this whole spend the cap on a tall forward crap. It's about 20 years our dated, you don't need height. You need 6 forwards who can win one on ones but also pressure and win ground ball. McAdam can beat his opponent in any situation.
