He's held maybe 1 of legitimately 25+ attempts. Some of them might have given mark of the year a nudge.

I will say about this whole spend the cap on a tall forward crap. It's about 20 years our dated, you don't need height. You need 6 forwards who can win one on ones but also pressure and win ground ball. McAdam can beat his opponent in any situation.

Haven't seen anyone say it although maybe they have but reckon it gives Kozzie more midfield time

Kozzy has plenty to work on but he he's also extremely young still and has a better early goal record than alot of the great small forwards. He could still be anything

Yeh I’m a fan too but if I was on the coaching staff I’d be pressing him pretty hard for consistency next year - especially if he wants more midfield minutes.

If he was more consistent he'd already be AA. I get that he's not, but he's currently 22, he's so damn young. It's a hard game. If he steps up again he's gonna be a 5-6x all Australian

Billings is a very handy pick up. For what we paid will be a bargain. Has skill and can play forward of centre.

Saints have no cap squeeze and are happy to pay him to play somewhere else.

Enough said.

Yeah i recall him holding one this year, it wasn't as big as the other attemps he's made though. Think it was against Carlton

Overall an unexciting but OK trade period. We needed a cheap backup ruck option and we got one.

We needed to find some players for our forward line and we got two for cheap. They aren't world beaters but we'll have to wait and see how they go in our system before passing judgement.

Spent what appeared on face value to be a lot just to move up a couple of draft picks, but can't really make a call on that until we see what moves are left leading up to draft night.

Overall between a C and B, with the big question of who we're targetting in the draft still a bit of a mystery.

In a trade period where there were no massive moves we did ok. Managed to hold on to Petty and Brough in some depth. McAdam and Billings should be pushing for round one. And we improved our draft hand with also putting us is a position to move up.
Trade period not outstanding. But we did ok.
