I can't imagine we don't have a plan B if those names are gone...

And our trade for Binns last year shows we're willing to be proactive to pick up a slider.
I'm not sure Binns was a slider, I think we just coveted him a lot more than others due to the state of our midfield depth, particularly on the wings. We're now in a situation where he might step in as a stoppage mid in 3 years, where other clubs might not have taken that chance.

Could just as easily be a bust if he stays at 74 kgs wringing wet and doesn't get quick enough to hit his passes flatter playing that outside role.

All of that is fair comment. Not saying he is a lock for anything.

Just noting that we got (mildly) creative to draft him. So shows the team can think outside the box.

I'm good with Collard being our first pick, but for some reason - I'm not keen on Moir at our first pick, as there are other players I think that would still be available that I have ahead of him.

I don't see why we would be so desperate to pick Moir.
For me go for Moir, if he is still there at our 2nd pick - but, I trust Austin & Co to make good selections, with both picks

If we reach for Moir it would be to get ahead of West Coast, if the reports are to be believed

I will be stunned if we go to the draft with the picks we have now
I think we will go to the draft with our current two picks

We can't trade with Geelong - as we don't have enough currency to tempt them - that's including F1
I wouldn't want to trade to mid teen pick - as I'm not too sure who would be left for us to give up F1 and lose flexibility in trading next year

Father Sons & FAs will be the focus next year

If we have the salary cap under control, we can go for a RFA or pre-agents with two F1s 2024 & 2025 - trading 2024 F1 now will not give us that option

I'm not sure why we would go for either given the amount of forwards we now have.
Midfield is looking very shallow.
