All he needs is 4 kick ins played on per game and he goes almost 100

Just on the match sims I've seen it appears he'll do that easy. The other difference from last year is he is getting higher up the ground to deliver in to F50 more. That wasn't as apparent last season but has been evident in the training I've seen.

Interesting the Ball Boys have said that Daicos having a difficult draw in the first 8

Two tags coming from St Kilda and Sydney
Geelong and Port hard for defenders to score against
Essendon could tag him with Guelfi/Caldwell

Yeah they're not keen. All over Brayshaw and Yeo though.

Or even going up to a Doc, I am tossing up between maybe going a bit value
I want to fade Daicos but at 43% ownership it's so so hard.
You either look super smart when he goes 80 for a year, or a complete idiot when he goes 110

Heppell played HBF 1st year 84.5 2nd year 85
McGrath played HBF 1st year 70 2nd year 71.4

Both played HBF first year second year they plateued

If your expecting daicos to average 110 think again. He is a big name, damaging, first to be tagged and pies football is no longer fantasy friendly to mids . Thats not to say he is a bad pick. He will have big ones but also 60-70s. My guess is best case he averages 90-95 max even less first half. Gulden also damaging last year and he increased 10 points on his first year which is close to what i see in daicos improvement. I wont be starting with him and think young is just safer.

If he goes 80 when you’re on it’s fine. 100+ and you’re not it’s goodbye.

I am worried he will throw up a few big games but people will have to cop a 60

And especially Salem ....really hot to trot on him

Argument is, if Brayshaw goes into the MIDS ....Salem becomes that defensive exit player with his kicking ......they're predicting a 90+ ave ....that would be a 17-20 point increase on his 2022 ave

To be fair, and I mean no disrespect, but Daicos is a far superior player to both those guys

Yeah, just saying it's not an instant 20 points like some people are saying on twitter people are saying he is going top 6, for every Oliver/Taranto there are lots that can't just step into the midfield.

That's a big jump and I can't see that happening sadly.

I love the kid but there is no way i'm starting with him. As I said previously, he was top in the comp for disposals and uncontested disposals. If he moves into the midfield there is upside, but if he's down back there isn't much more he can do.

Except ....I expect with another PS, Daicos will improve his "floor" , to get a 10 point ave increase min

Will geelong still be using taggers this season. If so who do you think they will go to 1st game up.

We're a bit strange when it comes to tagging. It's very possible we run O'Connor through there again (he's a beast now after a massive off-season), but more likely we keep the same setup and just 'tag' with whoever is in the middle at the time (Blics, Danger, Guth, Parf, Atkins, Holmes, Bowes etc.). Daicos is definitely a chance of getting attention, but De Goey would be someone we'd go after when he went in there too. We've tagged Mitchell in the past as well, so it's up in the air.

Put it this way, we won't use a dedicated tagger, and we could switch it any time in the game - so I wouldn't be basing my selection of Daicos on whether we'll tag him or not.
