Latter option is more appealing I think. Drop 10-15 points from Sheed to Callas, and pick up 30 by bringing in Doc, so +15 to 20 points, wheras Daicos to Doc is probably +20, then losing just as much by going down to Henry, assuming it's the Freo version?
Yes, Liam Henry.

I think jhf scores higher than bruhn, not sure about Flanders. Will play every game though.
What do you see the CBA splits looking like? Wines Rozee Drew Butters JHF is a few mouths to feed

First 3 locked in the middle you’d imagine so I can see Butters and JHF needing to play half forward a lot

edit.. and Boak too who I forgot. Surely Drew is excess now

No Flanders? 🧐
I've tossed and turned about it, but I got burned by brodie a few years in a row and have decided I don't want to blow up my team to fit him in. He's close to my favourite sun and a stud, but would rather watch him as a fan. Should be a good pick for the price, but still have some question marks with our full midfield there so don't feel he's a must have

As you get older you start to live life more as a degenerate.... but how much of a degen am I being by running with this team? At the very least I think it will be good fun. Is ginbey a must? Long or Day could go down to Ginbey and the money spent on.... who I don't know. I love my boys all equally.

I think Ginbey is a must, and that's with me trying to avoid playing him on ground all pre season, up until yesterday. Would go down to him from Long, and spend the 230k extra on strengthening your rookies, by shuffling some deck chairs and bringing in Cowan, Mackenzie and Hollands for Tsitas, Davey and one of your Rucks.

As for degeneracy, you're a man of my own heart. Team is very similar to mine, with the only ones I haven't considered being Long and LDU.

got my side sorted. Went with a few pods with 84k left over

Young>Daicos - mostly because of the better draw dockers have
McGovern> ridley - this is a contentious pick. ive got enough to upgrade to ridley and im 50 50 here. Gov looks fit and trim. with yeo down he'l be the mature bloke the side needs. hoping for 80+, should be good for at least 70. Plus no constable
titch - knows how to find the pill. at that price if he gets me 90+ each week im happy
setters - underrated and good draw. should get some good CBAs
cunnington + Baker > gulden + mid pricer - stability, decent potential aiming for 80+ from each. both had decent draw coming up too

Started with Jelly
But then Green makes Jelly seem overpriced
But then Sheed makes Green seem overpriced
But then Worpel makes Sheed seem overpriced
But then Callaghan makes Worpel seem overpriced...

Down the rabbit hole we go. Nobody to trust

Who is the lowest value player you think will go 110 regularly but can drop a 130/140? I think Merrett personally but can he do that from Round 1? Petracca can but won't.

That's been my issue all pre-season, haha. I ended up going all the way from Green down to Callaghan - with the logic that 350K saved from maybe 15-25 points extra, is worth it to fix up my defensive line.

Totally get it man.

I wouldn't bet on Baker, he's just too inconsistant.

Jelly I think fits that bill. Unfortunately, the Giants have a Richmond coach now, and I don't see that happening given their change in game style.

Lowest then for mine is Macrae.

Backline is disgusting but everything else feels solid

Would love Dawson/Day over Ridley/Jones but it’s 450k extra spend for what might only be an extra 30 points. That coin spent on keeping Laird + getting that last 200k dud rook up to Bruhn feels a lot wiser

Liam Jones makes them all seem overpriced, he’s the man to trust.

My thought on Laird based on scientific research.

Yeo went from 41% to 18% ownership. Take that as 23% of Fantasy people are obsessed campaigners.

Laird is owned by nearly 29% which you’re ****ed if it’s the 23 obsessed campaigners plus 6% with no idea what day it is and he goes 130+ early season.
