I like his DPP but might have to wait til after the byes. Don't think I can bring in anymore round 15 bye players.
god if HH didn't have that round 15 bye, defensive cover for next week when all the premo defenders are out, and forward cover the following week for when all the premo forwards are out. What a tease. Still tempted, but can't figure out what Kingsley's gameplan is settling him back there with Cumming, Taylor and Haynes all not far away.

You mean you all don't plan 2-3 weeks in advance?
I'm looking at these top teams and some are already so close to having a completed team.
They may very well have a team of 22 premiums after the byes, whereas I'll only have 17.

So much this! I need to trade in at least 3 rooks who will be playing in Rnd 15 in the next 3 weeks. With 16 teams playing this week, you'd think it's our best chance of getting one but they are nowhere to be seen or their JS is dodgy AF

Yes and no. Some 'premiums' are turning out to be not so premo, as the year goes on.
The top team, who has been there for ages, is looking pretty precarious with all of:
Sheezel, JZ, Hobbs, Ashcroft and Day passing as premos. Their cash gen has dried up, and they only have around 800K to upgrade everyone they need to from that group, plus the the rook on field in Humphrey.
I'd say most, if not all half decent teams should have all rooks off field by Round 16 (maybe 1 at the most like a Humphrey or Johnson), but no-one will be full premo until at least Round 20 or so, IMO - given the severe lack of rooks, injuries leading to sideways trades, and decent cash gen available this year.
I'll likely have 17 and 5 MP's/fallen premos, but they won't be full premo until Round 20 or later, given the wait for rooks/mp's to close the gap.

i dont need their scores. If they play great. if not then ive cashed out bench dead weight (cowan, davey Jr etc) and made a little coin along the way
This week im going HH > Windhager > Maric
-Wind has a BE of 73, costs $350k. Even if he smashes it this week hes not going up much in price. Can afford to wait and look at form, JS, role etc. Perfect downgrade target next week
-Maric is a total unknown. cheap...but a young tall fwd in a struggling side. Id rather spend the extra 22k for HH and get a price bump for at least 1 week

The number 1 team is worth an impressive $21,769,000, which is actually the 8th highest priced team in the comp and has held #1 spot for the last 4 weeks. Whatever they're doing is working, so I'm sure they'll be fine.
Oh definitely. Was more saying that even the best team in the comp won't be 'full premo' coming out of the byes, so I wouldn't feel bad if you haven't reached that mark yet either

Not sure about that one, but if you can make sure that Sheezel and Ziebell are in the same position - it gets really tricking doing edit trades on different lines
