Twitter rumours say he might not be. My team is so cooked if he and Oliver miss - on top of Green, Sheezel news, Ginbey sub etc. etc. etc.
All the major teams will be in the same boat as you ....both Oliver & Green 37% owned

should I take Darcy’s VC at 112 or try and captain one of Marshall, touk or daicos?
Look at it this way
How many players do you have in your team currently averaging more than 112. Probably a couple
Now if those players have a good week, they probably outscore their average by 5-10 points. So is it worth risking 112 points already in the bag to chase an extra 10 ?

I'd say not.

Round 7, my loop Max Heath plays Friday night.
No other red dots (Wilmot could be dropped but even he is game 2)

Six weeks in, seems a decent time to get a gauge of how everyone's captains have been going. Only real mistake so far was not taking Taranto's VC score of 108 in round 2. Would have got my captain average up to 120.

Rd 1 - 123 Taranto VC
Rd 2 - 90 Tom Green C
Rd 3 - 116 Dunkley VC
Rd 4 - 114 Taranto VC
Rd 5 - 125 Serong VC
Rd 6 - 133 Rozzee VC

Total Points - 701
Total Avg - 116.83

Taken the VC path = being conservative
Your 6/1 is 5/1 I assume

Have had a good start with the captains, only blunder was that Bray 90, pretty much cost me a league win and a 2100+ that week.

Rd 1 - Brayshaw 114 C
Rd 2 - Brayshaw 120 VC
Rd 3 - Brayshaw 90 C
Rd 4 - Daicos 126 VC
Rd 5 - Darcy 118 VC

This weeks choices

VC: Marshall

Easy pick to loop if he goes big and he’s an early choice. Up against Teakle so should score big.

C: one of Daicos/Bont/Serong/Walsh

All of them could go massive. Bont for his 200th. Daicos seagulling it up and Serong continuing his run of form, and Walsh against the Eagles could go large

VC English into Naicos
Pending a red dot from Cowan or Davey
Nicks flagged a Keays forward tag on Daicos. Not concerned usually but Keays has a pretty good motor which is enough to put me off him for the C this week

Not like it's likely to make it that far anyway having Timmy with the VC

Keays might be the one bloke in the league who could actually suit as a tag candidate for Daicos. Big tank, physical and reasonably well paced (albeit slower than Daicos).
