The state which hosts it will gain a 12th home game, their direct opponents will be forced into another away game.

Only way this round makes sense is in Tassie or NT, hopefully no one rocks up and the whole things flicked to the kerb as a failed project.

What difference does it matter? Swings and roundabouts. Only two sides are impacted, next year if in WA, it will be another two sides etc etc.

If you don’t think the fixture over many years has been rigged or manipulated I’ve got a bridge to sell to you.

In a world where more than half the teams are based in the same state this is really not a major issue. *But there's no advantage with playing 15 games in Victoria they are all neutral games" Victorian fans will say. I think there's a reason you'll find it's mostly Victorian fans that have an issue with this.

Or how the only people who support a Victorian team that will agree with you don’t live in Victoria such as myself.

Blues - Dees, Pies, Saints, Suns, Giants, Eagles (seems to be a 2-2-2 breakdown of top 6, middle 6, bottom 6 from 2022)

When will people start to realise they’re not losing a home game with this concept. All 18 clubs will still get 11 home and away games in addition to this new round.
Yeah but you can gain an away game. It should be derbies being played between the two local teams for each of these rounds to make it as fair as possible.

2 finals teams from last year. Extremely easy draw for Carlton

Will someone just ask AFL House whenthe Lions will ever play the Eagles at Optus stadium?

Has not happened yet! Brisbane has avoided playing the Eagles at home now for 5 seasons since the new stadium was constructed.
It’s a quirk in the Fixture sure and being Scheduled to play Freemantle in Perth most years
