Used to hate Derm, but as the years have gone in I've really softened on him. Yes he loves himself, but he at least makes an effort to educate himself about the players from every club and I think his insights can be quite good tbh.

One of his positives is definitely talking about young players a little more in detail instead of the constant fawning over star players about 80% of them do, the Bruce McAvaney effect.

Even today he was on 11 tackles at 3/4 time.

His inside work is excellent, but unless he can start breaking out of packs he won't reach the heights that were expected of him after his first month of footy.

Bloke is only 21, still plenty of time.
