South Africa have an incredible batting line up. Excellent bowling by and large has made this pitch look tougher than it is. The Maxwell, Head, Cummins and Starc changes have all done the job.

Losing the toss and keeping these powerhouses to 212 is a captain's job done well.
If he did his job properly they make less than 200.

All the spud did was keep them in the game.

Oh I don’t dispute the bizarre nature of the decision to not review.

However the players are not the ones paid to make decisions; it is still the umpire who makes the mistake, it’s not the player’s fault when that happens

Yes umpires will make mistakes, no one is perfect, that’s why they brought in DRS, so the player made it worse by not using the tools at his disposal.

But expecting 100% accuracy from umpires is ridiculous, do you expect 100% perfect games from the players earning 10-20 times as much as an umpire? QDK is probably the highest paid player in SA team, his decision to play that shot massively hurt his team, much bigger error than the umpires.

Great innings from Miller, but I'm annoyed that we let them get away. Given how long their tail is there's no way they should've topped 150. Rain break helped them I think.

There’s enough in the pitch for the bowlers but it’s nothing like it was when Starc and Hazelwood were bowling in ideal conditions prior to the rain delay.

Reckon that period will ultimately prove the difference and Australia will get home.

So the two extra Zampa overs in the last 10 went for 15 in total (7.5 r.p.o). Trade Hazelwood (a poor death bowler) and you reckon he would've kept them to 1-2 an over. Miller well set would've tonked most for at least one big boundary an over at that stage.
