Aston Moir looks really smooth and a smart forward, would be handy as the 3rd tall in our forward line!!!
Hardeman off the back was really composed, hitting the target wasn't the best but great on the rebound but do we need a 185cm HB flanker?
Loved Orlando Turners game, so lively and loves the contest - great forward pocket prospect.
Darcy Wilson will go top 10 but again, we have heaps on the list at his position.
Caddy started off well and probably a better game than Duursma playing up forward.
Will Patton and Connor O'Sullivan easily the Academies best defenders and would be excellent for us as a KPD draftee.
Harley Reid nothing needs to be said and interesting how Lockyer played the Wiz throughout the match...In a wonderful world we would finsh last and port 2nd last and we draft both kids as a 1 and 2 because they looked for each other and they've taken their underage form from last year to even better this year and Reid in particluar, just oozed 'Why am l playing with kids" whilst the Wiz he hits the ball at speed, keeps it alive and his disposal is efficent.
Port has some pretty good AFL listed players in the game and some of the Academy lads held their own.
Pity the feed was crap and seemed like one camera angle...be nice if the AFL kept at least half the camera's on after our game.
Its a bunch of other topics and then one paragraph saying what if the hawks get the spoon but lose their pick to the racism scandal.
Still no confirmation even though all of them were in our NGA programs at some stage. Is callinan nga for us?
Of course they were..Still no confirmation even though all of them were in our NGA programs at some stage.

We seem to cop the rough end of the stick more often than not.I've heard that the AFL is really dropping the ball surrounding the eligibility requirements with the NGA's. A couple of list managers are really getting pissed about the lack of clarity surrounding it.
It seems there are a lot more better quality players now compared to the last few years, these guys haven’t had their development as stunted as those in previous drafts. On top of that these guys are more professional and have more access to resources than ever before, a lot who are physically ready by 16-17 and developing other skill sets which generally take longer to come. The underage players are coming in at 16 and by the time they’re 17 they are dominating, most of Cannons team is 17 for example and they have won or been close in every game, Chargers the same. So the pool of talent is pretty much as good as it’s been, less dominant overagers though, which is probably a good thing. Is it just me or are there a lot more players getting bigger numbers than last year?
