It’s going to be an interesting point of discussion as the season progresses.

I’m generally pretty big on KP’s being over 195cm purely because of how many 198+cm defenders there are now.

In saying that there is no reason why Caddy can’t replicate the game of someone like Jack Darling. Has similar forward craft and will end up being a similar build, but it’s perhaps better mobility.

I thought it was a pretty poor contest from both sides. Very scrappy, very congested and the big rotations didn’t allow players to really get into the game.

Reid, Sanders, McKercher, Wilson, Patton and Philacitdes were probably best for the Academy side. None of the talls had much of an influence at all.

Watson, Stevens, Hardeman, Cabor and Delean all showed little signs, but hardly enough to make a highlight reel.

Was particularly disappointed with Curtain, Moir and Duursma. All of them had little to no impact.

I don’t know why the AFL just don’t outsource everything to Kayo. So often they have issues with their streams.

I think that’s where he will end up at AFL level. Strong runner with a good bit of pace. In saying that he can find the footy on the inside and can also find the goals when the playing forward.
