Twomey’s final phantom (generally the most accuracy given his contacts) had him at 13, and others had him around that mark too, so yeah he slid in that regard.

Awesome flexibiliity. He's a bolter and slider.

The little I've seen of Reid, he can mark at the highest point & I know he has played both ends, & as you said, ruck, so very versatile, though I doubt he'll fill out enough to play AFL ruck.

just hope if we do select him he doesn’t turn out like his brother, always seems to be injured.

If we do take a tall key forward , I prefer Weckert over him , he just looks a natural forward, great field kick as well. 194 cm

Under 18’s averaged 17 disposals, 7 marks and 3 goals a game
reserves. Averaged 9 disposals. 6 marks and 2 goals a game

If someone slides five or six spots in your lap for whatever reason, in Allan's case other clubs may have been scared to take him due to being a five hour flight back to WA, then that's a real bonus. To move up the draft order does cost a bit - just look at what other clubs pay in terms of draft capital to do that. Hopefully it can happen again in this draft.

Zane Zakostelsky is a Hine special.

I still think our first is too high for him given how raw he is, but I wouldn’t put it past Hine. Our second pick 33 (or whatever it will be) would be perfect though.

Has all the physical attributes to develop into a dominant key back, who you could also provide a chop out in the ruck.

I read that 4 clubs have spoken to Weckert, WC,Rich,PA and us and it is only this season that he has become serious about his football because he had a contract offer from SA cricket.

I had hoped he might go under the radar a bit longer so we could swoop as with Oscar who was a real bonus where we recruited him.

luckily, we have picks all before those clubs if the picks stay the same, ( WC aint using 1 on him obviously) so if its narrowed down to just us and 3 other clubs, we will get him if we want him

Looks super athletic for his height, great competitor & strong core. But kicking skills are really really poor.

Lock-down tall defender might be his go ..good closing speed, big leap & punch / spoil, strong core to also compete 1v1.

I watched a bit of footage of him the other day and has a few things going for him, strong hands and a nice kicking action and big lump of a lad already.
We have picks 19,33 and some late picks, would not use our 1st pick on him but could be tempted by 33 or the later picks for sure.

how many picks are we taking to the draft, do we know as yet?
be annoyed if Richmond nabbed him at 29 before our pick 33

maybe we can take 19 and 33 to Carlton for their 22 and 28
really depends who we are keen on at 19 and if we think he will be avaialble. its all just guess work for now

Given our picks after bids will be approx 24 and 35, it is interesting to see the latest Twomey rankings from 20-30
3 rucks between 25 and 30. Doubt we want a ruck
Ollie Murphy at 20. Could he slide to 24? Key defender
Harry DeMattia strikes as a Hine special at 21

Charlie Edwards at 24 the midfielder
