From my understanding they were nervous thinking swans would match, but they got the inking they may not and once they didnt, the happiness on their faces was clear. Fly had a smile and Dekka and the others were joyful.

I'm not going to try to read Dekkas responses. I don't think disappoint and excitement look much different for him..

I meant Cochrane. He was probably disappointed that Sydney didn't match. Would have been a strange rollercoaster. Sheer joy when his name is called, but then nervous anticipation about the bid and most likely disappoint straight after the joy. A bit like a condom breaking.

Dave, nearly every bid on a player is done expecting a match, but hoping that they dont
We’ve done it several times w both Syd and Bris Academy players and missed out every time…until now

Well then those Clubs are bit Stupid as they could wind up with a Player they don't want

Good Chance he knew before the Draft that there was a Real Chance Swans would not match a Bid

I took the same thing Jen2310 when watching it Closely

Is that the foot bone stress fracture that takes for ever to heal and sometimes results in just getting rid of the bone?

Poor ****er

The navicular is known for having a high rate of non-union after fracture, but removal of the navicular is not something surgeons would entertain.

Some people are born with an “accessory” navicular, meaning it’s essentially in two parts after never fusing properly as a child. In that case the extra piece of bone can be removed to alleviate symptoms, in what is referred to as Kidner’s procedure.

Oh yeah, I'm sure he was. But he would just have wanted to get on any list. Swans would have been ideal being a swan fan, in their academy and all. But unlikely he minds now.

Josh Thomas and Shaz both had bones removed. Same or different bones?

They want them, they just don’t expect to get them
But they try anyway, as they should

Okay that makes sense now

Yeah I say part of the looks by the Club Draft Night was the Worry Swans would Match and then Relief when they found out they did not

Itd be quite a different emotional ride, but I'd assume he's delighted now. Like all of them taken late - nervous, then joy and relief hearing their name, but then straight back into nervous whilst Sydney are deciding, than probably initially disappointed, before coming around again.

That's assuming he hadn't been told we're not taking you beforehand.

Scharenberg had sesamoid bones removed. A more minor procedure with a good prognosis.

JT… I can’t remember what he had… might have been stress fractures of the 3rd or 4th metatarsals (March fractures)?

So you're saying we take Clancy as an SSP rookie next year or will it be the year after?

Which part of AJ & Markov are contracted for 2025 don’t you understand?

Hi. Thanks for that information. It now makes sense. However in a perfect world, It would have been useful to be able to have the flexibility to pay at least one of them out & so give us a bit more flexibility when it came to last Friday's Rookie Draft. OK. With that in mind, I wonder what the terms of both Johnson & Markov, in relation to duration & monetary amounts per year. I suppose that I was curious as to what it would cost the club to pay out 1 of those contracts, if not two. At the end of the day, I have more faith in Markov as opposed to Johnson producing a better performance in 2025. Hopefully, I am proven wrong but a couple of those young key position players such as Dennis but also Stumpf & possibly Burmeister would be handy to have had on the list. Regardless, it is pretty much a moot point now. Any way all the best to the 3 young blokes that we did draft. Goodbye & good luck

Final question. Being a foot bone is it connected to the shin bone or are they lying to us?

If they're telling the truth he'd probably be North bound eventually.

There is a foot bone connected to the shin bone (tibia), but navicular is not it. It’s called the talus.

I think that’s the sesamoid? Same as Scharenberg and Thomas.
