That's about as daftly simplistic a view as those who think Superbowls are all that matters.

32 yrs of HoF only yielding 2 Superbowls is a disappointment. It doesn't mean they should've won every year or won 6 or whatever, but they definitely should have more than 2.

It's nonsense anyway. Way happier having won one superbowl this past decade, and made another and having some car crash years than I was in the Andy Reid 'consistent but never good enough' years.

I know they're on their own five, but given how the game has been going maybe you see if Stafford can get you into FG range? A minute and three timeouts is a decent chunk of time.

That said, I understand wanting to avoid an unnecessary TO and try to score straight after HT I suppose.

As a Denver fan those few years with Manning and finishing with a Superbowl have made the years of shite since worth it.

Basically just describing what we were mocking Dallas for
But QB has been the thing Dallas havent had.

But to say Rodgers was a failure because he only has 1 ring when he has a bunch of playoff losses where he had to score 30 and even 40.

While people crown Brady as the best QB ever and has a bunch of playoff wins where they didnt even need 20.

Don’t they have a ref in the studio to explain dumbarse calls like that offside call?

What do you want him to say? Sorry boys the zebras were drunk

Belichick to Cowboys already floated in the studio discussion. That'd be an interesting owner/coach combination.
I don't think it would work. Jerry sacked Jimmy Johnson for basically being Bill before Bill.

Jerry wants the control, Jerry wants the credit. No chance he brings in a coach to be a bigger star than himself. Jerry is the one who wants to be the face of the team.

Similarly, Bill doesn't want to go somewhere with a full control owner who will overrule him on every other decision and watch over everything he's doing. He wants autonomy and near full control, Jerry would not allow that.

23m viewers on Peacock. Yeah the NFL is going to keep selling 1 [or 2] WC games to the highest bidder.

😂

NBCs messaging on this has been horrible from the start (especially telling people before the game "to make history" by watching on Peacock), but you're 100% right that its going to continue if they can get those sorts of audiences

Two years for Bill to break Shula's record, and he would put some backbone into the team. I think he'd put up with Jerry's meddling.

If Rodgers had been as committed to systematic salary cap cheating as Brady was, you might have had better defence.

There is 1 [Ourand things there might be a 2nd] playoff game kept outside the TV deals. the NFL got about $110m for that Peacock game, people are predicting Amazon will offer $125M for one next season.

a few years ago John Skipper the former ESPN president predicted a superbowl behind a paywall or PPV in the future

I probably agree, except I think Jerry would sell his soul for a SB appearance. Plus BB can still coach defense, let Quinn go be a HC somewhere and get an OC in to call plays. Keep BB out of the draft room and maybe they'd be on to something.

He'll definitely coach somewhere else within the next two years to try and break the record. Just whether or not he's employed this year or next. I'm not sure about him at Dallas (I'd probably guess Atlanta of the jobs that are open this year, if he was to go anywhere) but it's a pretty talented roster and should be competitive for a couple of years you'd think.

I'm not saying it happens but watch the space about Philly. This end of the year has been so bad they might make a change.

They are actually quite good friends off the field and have been for a like 20yrs.

Anyone is better than McCarthy IMO.
