The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Deshaun Watson (shoulder, out for Week 6) could miss more “multiple” games.
Per Cabot, Watson is dealing with a “strain-like deep contusion in his rotator cuff.” It only adds more confusion to a situation where Watson has been “medically cleared” but isn’t practicing or playing. It also hits at the divide that often comes up between players and teams. Almost always, the team gets its way when it believes a player is healthy enough to play. Watson and his fully-guaranteed contract have decided otherwise. Already a fiasco, Watson’s historic five-year deal is set to go 2-for-2 on washes. Quite the investment.

If only he knew of a massage therapist who could work on his body

I've been trying to get more friends into the NFL so we call all take the Superbowl off together for literally years!!

Taylor showing up to one game has ment about 5 people are like so we take a day off on a Monday in February from work and eat chicken wings and drink beer from 10am.... That sounds like a good deal

I was like, it's always been a good deal!

Why on earth would anyone want to watch the pinnacle of a sport they follow with people who are watching because they saw a pop star in the crowd once?

You should find better people to watch with. Go to any sports bar in literally any city in the world and you'll do better.

AtoZSports’ Destin Adams reports the Colts have had trade talks for Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy.
Jeudy, who was benched in Week 6, is expected to be traded prior to the deadline. In addition to the Colts, at least one NFC team has checked in on Jeudy. The Broncos (1-5) are in the midst of a fire sale, trading/releasing DEs Randy Gregory and Frank Clark the last two weeks. Trading Jeudy would help open up snaps for rookie Marvin Mims.

Boston Sports Journal’s Greg Bedard reports the Patriots could turn to QB Will Grier as their starter if Mac Jones gets benched.
“From talking to people around the team, I think if Mac Jones doesn’t succeed this week, if he doesn’t retain his job, I think it’s Will Grier’s.” The Patriots don’t view Bailey Zappe as an upgrade on Jones, who has six turnovers in the last two weeks. Grier hasn’t started since 2019 but had a strong preseason, throwing for over 600 yards while completing 76% of his passes. Practice squad QB/WR Malik Cunningham could also be an option for the Patriots if Jones loses the job.

Didn't like the pick at the time, really wanted CeeDee Lamb, and to a lesser extent Jefferson.

At least we didn't end up with Ruggs.

Patriots should 100% be going after Jeudy, his character is the only concern for them. He would have been a perfect fit for their offence back in the day with Brady despite the fact that he's not white

Really he's worth a 3rd but doubt we will get that

Yeah I was thinking originally you could get a late third off a contending team also coz Chiefs paid a 3rd for Toney (similar, didn't live up to first round pick status, injured often ) ,but he had more years on his rookie deal to run.

Think 4 or 5 will be around the mark.

The $13m 5th year option that Denver picked up might cause issues getting even a 3, since its fully guaranteed for whoever he plays for next.

5th year options are hard to trade when the player is trash. as the Packers know right now with Savage. couldnt give him away. and cutting doesnt save a cent.

You could have drafted Reagor.

Thank god the Titans handed us AJ Brown.

Such a good WR class. Higgins, Aiyuk and Pittman also there. Love Aiyuk, reckon if he was In a better system he'd be talked about like Lamb and Jefferson also.

Pretty good top three receivers the next year as well

Jeudy isn't horrible, he just isn't as good as some of the stars in that class, and is also a specific fit.

Route running continues to be an extremely overrated aspect of the game for receivers coming out of college. It is not near the top in terms of importance

He hasn't proven to be anything close to a first round pick. Not sure hes had a better career up to this point than Chase Claypool, maybe slightly better, but its close.

Given Caleb's meltdown tonight, you could probably make a good case that Marvin Harrison Jr is the best prospect.
Caleb was never a legit NFL prospect. But people were always going to fall in love with his tape and overlook the glaring issues.

Maye should be QB1 but he doesn't have the sexy tape. But should transfer to the NFL easier
