Story of his time at Adelaide imo

He has been there for 2 years and shown his leadership is vital and they are on a uphill trend.

Despite playing in a gf that we weee spanked in I don’t think he would care much for his decision

There list is just as good as ours atm

Yes that 0.3 of a year makes the difference.

lol it does when it suits people

They are better than us then, simple as that, age doesn't matter as you say

Crows have done * all and Dawson has missed out on influencing a grand final

He's still probably fine with it

Just about every swan missed out on influencing a grand final as well unfortunately:(

Fluke I’m guessing
Yep. All these confidence boosting fluke wins give them momentum and mask how middle of the road they really are. They never get convincing wins and haven't won high stakes games like we have.

Can't wait to see your face when Nick Daicos goes out in straight sets in the finals. 👍🏻

They are playing better football than us at the moment. Coincidentally they are relying on an ageing forward to lead their forward line and it works.

Yep and also it can all turn bloody quick anyway

They get exciting wins , but do they play premiership football? They might be lucky there'a this odd lack of stand out great teams this year , but they seem a strong regular season team to me.

Paul Roos always said sort the ladder by % gives you a good idea of the real rankinfs

Maybe west coast muck up the year a bit as they are a % boost for us, Crows, etc

But interesting

Really weird, we had a record breaking win yesterday and there is a real negativity around the Board.

We should have kept Aliir & Cameron, we should pay Rampe $100k under the League average, Adelaide is younger and better than us.......

Are people really that jaded?

Surely as supporters we can at least enjoy a win for a day or two?

PS As Olian refers to above, Taylor Walker has missed 5 games since the start of last season, Crows lost 4 of them, winning only the Showdown when Dawson scored after the final siren. Geez reckon we should have kept Dawson.

Dawson would be the best player on our list if we still had him, hard not wonder what if you chucked him back in

How about..
Last year we won 8 of the last 9 home and away games. Players like Warner, Gulden, Campbell, Rowbum, Blakey, Mcdonald were all a year younger.
Mills is back. Logan is back. Amartey is back. Tom Mac played an awesome game in the ressies and looks good to be back next week.. We are starting to look like a team again.
If we finish this season like the last, we'll push top 4 and charge into the finals like a raging f***** bull.
Cant wait for next Friday night!

If you turn the close losses to Port and Giants into wins, we would be 5th. So the Roos percentage rule isn’t a bad reflection. As you say teams that double up against the Eagles will have a blowout in percentage unless the AFL introduces a mercy rule.

They get so much accolades from punts and the general footy media that you'd think they'd achieved something meaningful last season. They lost two out of three finals games and beat bloody Fremantle at the MCG in a semi final. Wowee.

In the meantime we beat the reigning premiers Melbourne on their home turf and controlled the entire game against the pies in the prelim until they got momentum with a few favourable calls and almost stole the game. But we get no accolades for any of that because we got thumped by Geelong. Like we earned our stripes.

Punts has said they'll walk it in. Yeah they'll walk it into the finals. They'll make a preliminary final at best. They don't have what it takes to go all the way.

Punts never took my bet he gets the pies and I get the field for the flag for 100 bucks. 😂

Pies are always overhyped, Like the Yankees, Lakees, Cowboys etc etc

Honestly believe that if we get to the finals we can do more damage than the pies could. We're still a young side but have two finals campaigns under our belt. Plus Grand Final

What was this same Collingwood side doing in 2021? Stinking it up.

If the injury gods are done toying with us...
