First trade-in option for the year so far that hasn't been super obvious. Going SP mid shopping – who would you pick out of Walsh, Petracca and Cripps? (Not factoring in byes)

Leaning towards Cripps currently, but could be convinced on any.
I haven't done the research, but doesn't Cripps tend to tail off a bit towards the end of the season?

Haha, too quick for me deleting my post.

He does, though I don't love how Walsh was back to 26% CBAs on the weekend. Doesn't kick it well enough to go massive when he's playing outside very often, which frustrated me last year.

Wonder if Walsh's lack of a PS will hurt him too?

Essendon have a pretty good draw after this week, maybe Merrett?

Worth considering. I just don't love how he goes with a tag.

That being said, the draw is hard to ignore. As is the quick sugar hit with Petracca as Melbourne has GC, Hawthorn and Port next three, who he went 129, 131 and 141 against last year.

Petracca is a flat track bully too. Huge chance he gets DPP, so you will be a trade ahead of everyone trying to get him in in round 12 after his good run.

All worth considering. It's such a strange year for SP mids – I have Oliver, Bont, Neale, Green (and seven of the top 11 players overall - eight if I get Trac or Cripps), and no one else is really standing out too much.

If I end up boosting to grab Simpson, I could get Laird and keep it simple, but even he isn't an overly inspiring choice atm.

Not keen on Steele? Will be popular over the next few weeks. Anderson I like too, no Touk and the best bye.

Simpson is the interesting one, I'm also thinking about using a boost to go Rowston to him. Given the lack of rookies on the horizon I feel it's needed as my cash gen is drying up.

I need to see another good week from Steele, and with that BE, I have that option. I was right off him in the preseason, and he wasn't looking all that inspiring pre-injury either. Wait and see for mine.

Anderson also an interesting one. And agree re Simpson, may just be a necessity if no new rooks get named this week.

Wil Powell or Lachie Weller for D5?

Ryan. Looks pretty safe for 70-80 atm. Could snag a few goals and go bigger aswell.

Ratagolea is inconsistent. Relies on intercepts to score.

Also Rats team mates refuse to kick the ball to him even when he is free. I regret trading him in.

Yeah no chips for the Rat hurts. I've just traded him out. I started him so pretty happy he made me around 150k.
Cheers sounds like good advice to field Ryan. I also started with Rat and am holding him this week even though he has pretty well maxxed out.

A spike game on my bench this week will be welcomed :rainbow:

Samson Ryan (v West Coast) or Ratugolea (v Adelaide) on field this week.

Can't loop them as one is at R3 and one FWD

Cats set things up really well at the cattery.
But now SDK out ...less intercepts me feels.

Crows will tag Stewart as well..

Cripps vs Taranto this week
Taranto. A 118 averaging forward is a necessity, and there's plenty of 110-115 mids. You're bleeding points to the rest of the comp each week by not having him (as much as he's a disgusting butcher).
