Laird mate. Piggy can throw out stinker and drop in price. He has the last few years.
I expect Laird to continue his finish to last year and almost be a perma captain.
I didn't start Piggy last year thinking the same thing. He only had one stinker, but rescued his price two weeks later with a 168 and never got below $618k. I am leaning Laird as that's not likely to happen again. It's the risk starting any player at that price I guess - one bad score and everyone gets them cheaper.

The quick equaliser makes it 3-3

Here is another option "JUST PICK BOTH KENTY"
This might sway you as well both players before the bye rounds Do not have any games that clash so you will always have a VC & C option.

Yeah I'd like to, just canvassing opinions. Still a long way to go until round 1.

Oliver has the superior three year average and he’s missed less games through injury over the course of his career (tho that’s only the difference of a few).

I also prefer Oliver from the perspective of diversification as I’ll own Dawson.
Laird has only been playing midfield two seasons though.

As A Bit Dusty rudely suggested above I think both is the real answer here.

Yeah you're right, part of that season too.

Laird, a two-time All Australian defender and 2018 Club Champion in the role, was thrust into the midfield late last season and thrived, winning 25 possessions or more in eight of the last nine game and finishing second in the best and fairest.
