Earlier in the PS I would have said Steele for sure but with word around that the Saints want to play faster I’m not sure that helps him so I’m getting cold feet.

So as much as I’m big on Young I’d probably lean towards the Docherty + budget mid approach. Of those you listed I’d go Green but since I want you to fail please please please pick Cerra

Personally I think its Cerra of those mids and I can't leave Doc out. The chase for him will be too hard and the gap between him and D2 I think will be larger than AFL House stupidity.

Does it have to be Steele? Let's say it's whoever you're missing out of say Touk, Smith, Macrae and Young I like. Docherty I'm not sure bounces. As for the 700k cheapies, to me it's pot luck who jumps.

Why not both ....Steele and Docherty ? .....Titch at M2 leaves you thin for (C) options, unless you're counting on Dunkley

It was simple ....just told my recruiting dept to ignore the salary cap .....and use a lot of paper bags

Are the 3 x rookies going to play?

I can get in on the Steele/Doc combo with a guy under $386k. Riley Garcia rumoured to be in the mids could be the option.

I've got all 3. Weddle on bench though because I think Michalanney plays too.

Got to be carefull, we don't have too much money tied up in Rookies ....what is Michallaney, $290K ?

I've got Milera in at $440K ....who'll get FWD / DEF status after R5 .....better value IMO

He's $268k. Basically same as Weddle. Hopefully more $200k guys come into it closer to the day.

Currently I see Wilmot, Van Rooyen, Drury & Pedlar (good as $200k) as being likely starters.

I've got Milera too as McLean looks too risky.

Agree re Dunkley, but maybe tigs2010 has an insight, but on bought on Taranto yet. Would need to see our play style change from Turnover/Rebound/Chaos to a more Stoppage/Clearance side - we have the cattle for it now, but will it transpire. Dimma loves his pressure/turnover game.

I currently have Taranto but will watch with interest. I think if he’d stay fit Prestia would have been able to easily average 100+. Don’t think it was our style holding him back.

I really like right until... you get to Salem. I like the pick but thyroid issues are worrying me. Cameron is also battling issues but not so severe.

I'd be curious to know if Salem had to deal with this in the past especially 2021 when he scored pretty well.

Right I would love if you downgraded Worple to a gun midfielder like say any highly drafted midfielder ready to go and upgraded Salem to say... Young or Daicos.
