Not announced yet, but the photos from training have players in numbered training tops. I see Bruhn in 4, Bowes in 12 and O Henry in 41.
I can’t see O Henry taking 41, unless he wants to be close to his brother.

41- now that's an obscure number. Can anyone recall any previous significant # 41's? I doubt he keeps that, but who knows...

Daniel Foster and Matthew Scarlett started in the 41.
Mumford holds the league record for most games in 41, playing 216 for Geelong, Sydney and GWS.
Geelong does well in the high guernsey numbers holding the league record for 39 (Milburn 292 games), 40 (Ian Nankervis 325), 44 (Enright 332), 45 (Ling 246), 46 (Blicavs 203).

Of our current high guernsey numbers, Close will play a lot of games in the 45 but probably won't run down Lings games number (its probably the only thing Close can't run down), same as Stewart with Enrights record. Hopefully those two equal the amount of Premierships won though.
O'Connor is our most successful 42, Henry is our most successful 38, Zuthrie going to have a hard time catching Milburn, and hopefully Sam Simpson comes good in the 37 and runs down his dads games played record.
