Mumford holds the league record for most games in 41, playing 216 for Geelong, Sydney and GWS.
Geelong does well in the high guernsey numbers holding the league record for 39 (Milburn 292 games), 40 (Ian Nankervis 325), 44 (Enright 332), 45 (Ling 246), 46 (Blicavs 203).
all his games as 41?

Pies rd 1.
Injury concerns with 3 players
De Goey- minor shoulder surgery, expected to be ok
Moore- osteomyelitis- got onto it early, so should be ok
Adams- that adductor tear he copped against us in the QF, again, expected to be ok.

All will come in underdone, versus us who should go in with everyone fit bar Hawk - and around 30 players to choose from. Very good R1 position to be in (touch wood!!!)

A change of hairstyle will do that?:)
Yep a shorter hair cut made Ling appear to be more athletic to recruiters. Eli Templeton’s and Ben nason’s careers ended when they diced off the dreds. Miers was smart enough to to cut it back over a longer period of time.if you’re a small forward at U18 level but lack pace grow your hair long it makes you look like you’re running faster

Mooney will be top age under 16s this year and will be hoping to break into Newtowns 1sts which will be very strong. Played in about div 4 or 5 last year in under 16s as a bottom ager and was serviceable without being outstanding. Coming from a fair way back in my book, but does have size and athleticism about him. Will be given every opportunity to prove his worth over the next 3 years. Newtown under 16s were very dominant last year and had Wocjinski, Caracella and Stevens (son of Anthony) in the top side and Riccardi and Mooney in the 2nds.

Pretty sure there's two Mackie's also running around at Newtown. And I think James Taylor was also there this year.

When you say divisions 4-5 what do you mean?? Is it just an open seniors 1-2-3 etc onwards and everyone including juniors plays in it? Or was he in an under 16’s only league.
