Hard to take a lot from this game - we have clearly phoned it in, where as Brisbane are tackling everything that moves and playing good footy. Amazing how bad we are structurally without Hawk and Cameron. Absolutely imperative that those two are back together again, for our season to get going.

So won’t watch Brisbane games this year. Ashcroft goes from spud to stud the moment I turn it off lel
or don't start with him and watch him like a hawk

F*ck me that was ridiculous. I know it's a pre-season game, but the umpires were just paying everything to Brisbane in that second half. Awful to watch.

Anyone else stuck and in the worpel/sheed dilemma?
Feel sheed is too weak at m4 and worpel m5. Can't afford to put any of the gun rookie mids on the bench as it'll cost points.
Why can't one of worps or sheed have fwd status 😭

Yeah 1 or the other. Think I’m leaning Sheed still.

Need Steve Hocking back at the AFL 😝

I will say though, Brisbane gave away a lot about their game plan, in a practice match. If you can match them in the contest and you have the talls up forward to contest 1 on 1 - they can't rebound and put it out into space as much as they'd want. Be very interested to see how that works come Round 1

I'm thinking of starting Worpel with the option to go to Duursma due to their rd 1 fixture.
Lions look hard for outside players to score against and I think Worpel might find it easier against Essendon
Interesting
A good thought. Injury could ruin that though.
If I prefer XD I would just pick him I thinkz

Why is Sheed too weak M4?

We had Crouch m4 and Rowell m5 last year.

I think you've proved your own point there - Crouch and Rowell were both bad picks last year, ultimately.

Successful coaches had Cripps and Rowell haha

I more meant that m4/5 is often a speculative or mid price pick. Sheed and Midpricer should go better than Crouch Rowell
