I think it can work, if you can go deep to M6 with solid players (Phillips on the bench):

I've gone discount premos and then mpm in the mids. Ashcroft is at M8 with Mackenzie and Phillips on the bench as very solid cover. Not 100% sure we want to be fielding Phillips every week. Could be some upside against the comp if he pumps a few 40s to start.

Yeah I'm in the same boat, but Mackenzie on field - given his scoring ability shown today. Phillips I'm unsure of, but you need to have him given his likely JS (likewise Phillipou who I have up forward on the bench)

I more meant that m4/5 is often a speculative or mid price pick. Sheed and Midpricer should go better than Crouch Rowell

True. All comes down to who you pick in those M1-M4 spots. If you nail all 4 you set up your season beautifully, as that's where the bulk of your points are coming from early on before upgrade time.

At the end of the day, Sheed is a pretty safe pick whom (nearly) everyone has. Worpel is a risky one but if pays off, you're laughing.

Yeah I don't like it but means I can go an Oliver instead of a Anderson type with Steele as my M1/2.

Yeah I went Bruhn to Phillipou to fund Daicos upgrade but will watch the Saints game with interest. If he’s an undersized KPF I can’t do it lol

We also literally had these outs missing from what I consider our 'Best 26', which made it near impossible to have any semblance of structure:

Hawkins, Jez, Duncan, I. Smith, Blics, Menegola, Bowes, J. Henry.

Pretty fair contingent missing there, haha.

Oh i know but this isn't a 1 year thing been happening for ages and when we only get 1 game here per year most of the time and an occasional practice game as well it would be nice for the players to give a shit.

Yeah it is what it is though. Bruhn, Sav and Whyte looked good though, which is all I was really watching by the end, haha.

Brisbane umpires in the second half made it near unwatchable anyway

I hope he gets games because i liked what i have seen when he was at Geelong but he was behind our other small forwards so i understand his desire to move.
