Still waiting on merch ordered from the club GF day. Got a notification that Auspost had it then it was delayed and now no sign of it. Apparently auspost never had it and the purchase is pending on my bank statement, what an absolute s**t show. Selling stuff they don’t even have.
I have been told by extremely reliable sources that each club must present they financial statements to the AFL by this Tuesday, the pies are trying to boost this seasons profit before then by selling stuff they don’t have instead of how the AFL shop has done it. The advertise the product and say that it’s not available for delivery until after x date. This I can deal with as they are being up front about it and I know the 2 items I ordered won’t come until mid November but our club is being dishonest and trying to make extra bucks under false advertising. It’s shameful how they are treating us.

You might want to ask your extremely reliable source how an organisation can “present their financials” on the actual balance date? That’s a neat trick.

I received a card today for some of the merchandise I ordered but was at work. Annoyingly the company does not redirect to a post office and the goods are at Melbourne Airport, a long way from where I live. I then tried to have the merch delivered to my workplace but received confirmation the parcel was going to the original address which is not use to me. I then proceeded to speak to a robot/computer which eventually directed me to a chat on my phone through messaging which was incredibly frustrating. Not sure where this 'person' was located. I shouted at the original robot because it said it didn't hear me properly. In the texts I ending up putting some sly abuse of this company into my replies. I'd prefer the club uses DHL or Startrack which are easier to navigate and the latter redirects packages to the local post office. I have more merch from the club on the way so expect I will go through this protracted process again.

Yes and no

Blu-ray is high definition and Ultra High Definition discs

There was a format war back in 2005/2006 between Blu-ray and HD DVD and Blu-ray won. Which honestly is part of the reason physical media has been dying a little faster than it might have had HD VD won out

I’m sure it’s popped up, but the premiers Sherrin is on my radar. It’s pricey, but I think it was a limited run and isn’t as cringe as some of the other stuff I’ve seen (replica cups and medallions).

Yeah it's already disappeared off the Sherrin site, so they're slowly getting spoken for. I ordered mine from the Collingwood site because of the member discount, but no idea when it'll turn up.

I kind of regret not getting the GF day match ball, but oh well.
