TDK has suddenly started winning ruck contests. The last 3 weeks he has given us good use of the ball by jumping over the top of his opponents and actually shown good ruck technique.

That is an absolute game changer imo. Up until this patch of form his 'potential' was really just athleticism, and he looked like a poor tap ruckman and a poor forward. If he is actually a competent tap ruck who can jump over bigger players, and bring his athleticism as X factor, then he becomes a very important player to keep around.
I appreciate TDK's 2nd, 3rd efforts, agility, tackling, just unreal for his size below the knees

I'd say Walsh, JSOS and Motlop will all miss next week. Walsh and JSOS probably 2

Walsh slight hammy and doubt he'd be back in 2 weeks. JSOS jarred knee so unknown how long but minor I reckon.

Motlop not sure what it was but muscle of some sort of assume. Cinc seemed fine, depends on delayed concussion but doubt it.

Thanks mate 👍

Ngl the statements like ‘X player isn’t AFL standard’ are cringe as.

Just because a player isn’t an A Grader or dominating doesn’t mean they aren’t up to AFL standard.

Dow didn’t star but he also didn’t look off the pace.

He’s behind Cripps, Cerra, Kennedy, Walsh and probably Hewett.

But he’s still AFL quality and contributed more than fine today.

Sensational win, injuries the only downside & which probably cost us the chance of running out the game with a bigger result…

Charlie just brilliant, Walshy equally best on before the injury JSOS and Mots we’re also having great games until before going off as well…

DeKoning again having a big influence on the game, as we’re Doc Saad Weitering McGovern Newman and Hewett, Kemp’s best game of his career looking more confident and composed his spoiling and marking a standout…

Many others who played great roles for the team, some promising signs from a few in Cincotta Fogarty Hollands Cottrell and Dow…

Back in the eight, Go Baggers…

Dow is fantastic at the coalface, dishing it out, and great to see him kick that running goal.
Love Cincotta…composed, tough and skilful
Kemp getting better each match
Cunners is a Rolls Royce
TDK…..must keep.

He’s been great getting the ball - please Paddy tidy up the disposals.

Reckon it’s nearly the best game I’ve seen him play. Dominated the ruck , prepared to run like a midfielder, got back to help defence. Wish he could have nailed the shots on goal - deserved them.

How I feel about this result is hinged entirely onhow many of the in game injury concerns were cautionary compared to how many were serious.

No issues putting the cue in the rack and playing some holding footy in the third and running the game out with lesser lights in the last. I find it darkly amusing that people are willing to criticize a 70pt result after the last 5 seasons.

We knew we needed to beat one of Melbourne or Collingwood if we are to make finals going in today. We did more than we needed to do.

Next.

We can actually afford to lose both provided we beat Saints, thats the game we really need to win.

We will give pies a good run for their money if we keep giving Charlie enough chances

No one can stop him
I think we need Walsh in as well as Cerra Crippa and Martin. Gotta have a decent shot at it.

Hollands cherry ripe for a riding star nom this week I hope? He really picked up the slack after Walshy went down.

Tommy Boy (DK) was also dominant despite his goal scoring conversion woes.

Dow was unfairly maligned during the game, he did his job that was required of him very well, and I am glad he got that goal, hopefully gives him confidence

What can I say about Brodie Kemp ? His nickname should be The Professional, cause he is the consumate one at that !!!

Can't remember the last time we won 5 games in a row, I believe Methuselah was around back then.

An extremely satisfying day at the office, despite our unfortunate in game injuries
Thy was in knee socks I believe.
