Smells fishy with how we flicked the switch in the 4th quarter. Partly due to Brisbane’s effort dropping off but I’m starting to think we’re picking and choosing when to put in effort. I’ll get shot down for saying this but it wreaks of the Carlton of old trying to get a coach sacked. I’d love to be wrong but it’s starting to build that stench. As much as I’m not a huge fan of Voss, if that’s the case some of these players need to be shown the door.

Kicking down the line on numerous times to Durdin one out... our smallest player. With literally no one else at the drop of the ball. The mind boggles. That’s back to the Bolton era.

Kennedy sub.. madness. He should have started and the sub should have been someone with run.

Loved Cerra’s performance tonight. Hold your head high. Cincotta looks at the level. Not many other shining lights tonight unfortunately.

I’m too frustrated with the coaching and the players at the moment to add anything meaningful so I’ll leave it at that.
You’re on the money. Sack him now.

As a supporter you can't help but sense that we are being led by a handful of comfortable millionaires. Cripps, McKay, Weiters etc...absolutely no backbone. None. This team has no toughness; either mental OR physical. We are destined for another year outside the 8. Something is seriously wrong with this group.

This group just doesn’t have the killer instinct to win a flag… Not sure they they are even good enough to make the 8…

We need to go all out to get the best forwards we can…

Ours offer little to no pressure and don’t worry any opposition defence… Motlop’s cheapies mean bugger all…

Cripps, McKay, Curnow and Acres are the only players we have who can really influence a game…

100 point win and Brisbane losing two key cogs last week was always a recipe for disaster.

A good club would've put Brisbane to the sword yet we made it impossible for ourselves... Again

Can’t remember the last time we won a supposed 50/50 game. Couldn’t believe the bookies had us as favourites…what a joke.

We’re once again the league joke…even the Bombers have likely gone past us. Our skills are deplorable.

No system. No skills. No pace or spark. No footy IQ. I CGAF anymore…over it.

Losing to the Saints and Lions in practically the same way is as infuriating as anything this club has done in over 10 years.

Leadership on the ground and in the box seems non-existent.

****ing hell. You couldn't have asked more from a supporters base, and yet they'll probably be rewarded in a few weeks of more headlines and talkshow fodder about the future of the coach of the club. If Carlton stood for anything atm, it's probably that.

Worst game I’ve seen Cripps play in years. No more excuses for Jack Silvagni, he is simply not good enough.

our structure and gameplan is just not good.

lions owned us when curnow and mckay couldnt dominate contested marks but that cant be our only method to get ball movement.

we look dead in the water with ed cripps hewett. voss please wake up.

honey just no. just lacks game sense enough is enough.

some good performances from cerra jsos.

sorry doch.

Motlop's cheapies? He's not the one getting goals from opposition mistakes. He worked hard for that one that Charlie gave off to him.

Scoreboard flattered us, that 3rd qtr we couldn't hit a target to save ourselves, we just didn't handle the Lions pressure either

While the quicker ball movement looks more desirable, it doesn't suit our list against better sides, so prefer more tempo

Cerra was a clear standout, Hollands tried bloody hard

Kennedy just has to be a starter next week

Cripps needs to be on the move more. Stick Walsh on a wing, Acres more inside

Subbing Young was just bizarre, when you could have sent him forward instead

Small forwards kicking goals and laying tackles is great, but being first to the ball is probably more important

Still need more speed and grunt, find spots for Cotts and Boyd, we are better for it

Lots of positives to take out of tonight’s game - only lost to a top four side by four goals - so that’s really only a goal a quarter we have to find - we found new avenues to goals as our talls were held, with Motlop and Durdin contributing 2 goals each.

Just a little more consistency should see us winning these close contests - we’re still a work in progress.
Ain't you a ray of sunshine? An absolute crepuscular ray.

The softest spine in the competition. McKay, Weitering, Young all lack aggression.

Everything we do is difficult -- our inability to score is something that has been a constant ..
as soon as sides put time into cripps he has problems with it - or our other mids can cover it (cerra excluded he had been our best player over the course of the year ?
To many leaders when the heat is is dump it or handball as quick as possible to make it someone else problem .
We were playing plus one at stoppage leaving an extra defender last year and it didn't work --it still isn't working --
Our pressure was good bar ten minutes of the third and 5 minutes of the second ..

Maybe we just haven't got enough players good by foot with footy IQ and carrying to many mental demons -- maybe the instruction don't suit the group ..
Whatever it is we are average 7-12 side -- will be in a lot of games will have games like today also
