For me, skipping him means looping Weddle and Wilmot in D6. I’d rather be in your shoes.


If my team wasn’t such a train wreck, I’d be cashing up this week. No good rookies on the immediate horizon, but a couple of fallen premos coming up.

Considering Wilmot up to Sinclair, he's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy undervalued.

That or trying somehow to put Gawn in my team, and um pray for a dual fwd position soon.

have parish who obviously is out, so do I continue to to upgrade by going one up and one down.
something like weddle and one of brayshaw/mills.

Or do I grab 2 downgrades like Atkins and weddle getting cash to be able to upgrade next week while taking a hit this week with extra rookies on field. Any ideas most welcome

Are you planning to hold Parish? I would upgrade him to whoever you can. Then maybe look at Atkins for bye coverage if you have 5 dead rooks like me.

Ashcroft is now my final rookie on the field. Sheezel doesn't count, and the beautiful man that is Liam Stocker is now into MP scoring territory instead of expensive rookie.

Getting Gawn is just as good as flipping a rookie. 100k cash grab and a higher output of points? Yes please. Also helps my bye situation.

With 220k in the bank, Parish out (so Setters stays), and my loops all play around the same time, decided to get the best premo I can afford.

Setters, Stocker, Pickett and Ashcroft now my biggest worries on the field. I either upgrade them, or trade in fallen premos for fattened cash cows and start looping in scores.

I would like a strong bench heading into SC finals.

I brought him in as a sneaky POD the week we dropped Lycett, assuming he'd get a mass of ruck time, and he's gotten 3 tons since then without actually going in there as much as I thought he would. Looking at his stats for the year the main difference between his good games and his shit ones seems to be whether he kicks the ball and gets on the scoreboard or not, the hitouts seem to change very little (looks like he got none last week and still got a 103).

I reckon he's not a bad call but you probably need to manage expectations that he'll score like a forward, not necessarily a ruck, so the floor is pretty low. Our draw until our bye is fairly reasonable though, so he could kick some bags.

I like him as a POD but I don't reckon he's a top 6 forward. Potentially worth a punt though.

Hold Parish for a week and see how bad his injury is.

I’ve played around and gone:
Ridley > Atkins (or Weddle)
Davey > Drury
Greene = $606k Anderson or if I get Weddle I can upgrade Greene to Oliver or Dawson




Will hold Parish for now but he did have a calf injury last year and missed a few. Essendon said they’ll provide an update in coming days…

This is a good point too. Even Walsh potentially. That being said if you've got the trades you could potentially straight sideways Finlayson to one of them which would be pretty handy.

Probably a little sideways, but I feel I'm adding 40-50 extra per week, I've got boosts left and 20 trades, but only $600 in the bank. I'm not bothered by that because it means I can't trade unless I have an injury. I'll hold off trading unless it's forced until the mid season draft players come in.

I have 4 rookies left, Cincotta, Ashcroft, Drury and Chandler. I've got okay bench cover on all lines.

So from here I'm holding on for life for a month.

Good option but who knows what will happen with his personal situation outside of footy.

There is too much risk involved to pick him up.

Wish we could get a more specific timeline with Parish. Really considering Zerrett with him out, he's been a great pick for me the last couple of years at around $550k. Last year went big with Parish not in there hogging the pill.

Walsh in line for a DPP come r12 if that helps with any decision making.

Cerra is another option there if you are considering Walsh you are obviously not worried about their byes which has turned me off Cerra as he doesn't fit in my byes.

IDK about Walsh. Cerra looks cherry ripe though. Macrae might return to form with Treloar out too. One to consider.

I’m strongly considering Finlayson to resolve my ruck challenges.
DPP status, likely to sit at F6 when he’s saving me from R2 donuts, and might average around 100?
At the moment in the rucks I have Sinclair, Darcy and Madden, but nobody in the forward line to switch in when I need them. I know I have an upcoming bye challenge with my two main rucks, but have a future Gawn trade in mind.
Tell me why this is a ridiculous move.
